Hey everyone, welcome to the nineteenth Pokémonday suggestions post!

This week, I'm gathering ideas for...

...the villainous team grunts!

Keep in mind: by designing the grunts, we need a theme for the villainous team as a whole, so be sure to include that. Some examples I can come up with from the top of my head:

- A villainous team of TikTok zoomers/influencers
- A villainous team of extremely pious Arceus followers
- A villainous team of robots/AIs gone rogue
- Et cetera!

Feel free to steal one of these ideas by the way.

Drop your most creative ideas below!

Team Cloak Going off of our Pokémon Professor, the team is actually a bunch of Pokémon in disguise. The champion talks of working with Pokémon to create a brighter future for the region, but it turns out that has a very dark double meaning. Each Pokémon in the team is actually a victim of lab experimentation to increase their intelligence and power to basically use them as potential weapons/slaves for the regions benefit behind the scenes. And an accident had a bunch of them escape and decide to form a group to expose the corrupt champion and save the rest of the Pokémon of Tabula from suffering. So it’s starts out looking like a random evil team but is slowly revealed to be more of a Resistance movement. And there could be a connection to Seth and Gus cause maybe two of said Mon were wild ones that they befriended and wanted to make their starters when they got to be old enough to be trainers. But then some shady guys came and took em away and told the “kids” to buzz off. And it’d be like a thing where yes, Pokémon are used for jobs and battling, but it’s by their own choice and it’s because they’re friends with the humans they’re with and vice versa instead of just tools or “slaves”. Idk let’s take the goofy two disguise things and make a story out of em

Something representative of the current state of the Pokémon fandom. Mainly the side of the fandom who indiscriminately hates the franchise. Regardless of how valid the criticism is, they’re more being a killjoy than actually providing good criticism. Idk, i don’t want to make it seem like I’m bashing on criticism in general
