Welcome to the two-hundredth-and-sixth episode of the Hidden Details blog!

Have you found some obscure reference or detail in this comic? A JoJo reference? A sneaky little Loss? A callback to a previous comic? Let us know what you've found in the comments! Every detail that has been found will be added to the list below. Once everything has been found, this comic will officially be marked with "all details found".

Please only comment with ONE hidden detail or reference!

There's one Loss, one Balthazar, one Miep and one crewmate. Bonus comics don't count.

FIRST PANEL
1:
Waluigi is wielding a series of weapons he loots of other fighters in this comic. In the first panel, he's wielding Leon S. Kennedy's knife, which was previously seen in the possession of Peach and Daisy! I'll count it, Calvin Barbanell.
2:
This week's gotcha hand is visible right above Daisy! Just a few more of these, Brandon Digwood!
3:
Spanky is chilling in a tree in the background. Such a good boy.

SECOND PANEL
4:
This week's obscure retro character is Klaymen from The Neverhood. He's running away from Waluigi trapping Sans. You betcha, Generic Hero!
5:
Balthazar is watching the whole mess play out safely from the bushes. Found by Ethan Cross.

THIRD PANEL
6:
Miep (or rather her silhoutte) is visible in the tree in the background.

FOURTH PANEL
7:
This week, our favorite kanji, 末, is visible as a scar on Kratos' arm, as mentioned by Spirit of Gotham.
8:
Doom Slayer is wielding a gravity gun from Half-Life, and he's using it to use a Spiny Shell as a projectile. Glad you recognized that, Jake Lyde.
9:
Special point for A Sad Fat Dragon with No Friends: there's indeed an error in this panel. The Spiny Shell should be racing towards Waluigi since he is number one.

SIXTH PANEL
10:
Doom Slayer does his iconic kick-into-punch pose from that official piece of DOOM art. He has some experience kicking Sephiroth's ass so it's only fitting that Sephiroth (who is absolutely terrified of Doom Slayer and will always be) once again takes the L here. Found by Cameron Devera.

SEVENTH PANEL
11:
This week's "loss" is visible on Master Chief's chest. Instead of 117, it says 7055, but the 7 is flipped so it looks like it's spelled "LOSS". Not my most creative one, Carlos Hooper.
12:
This week's crewmate is visible in the same panel: there's actually two of them in Scorpion's face mask! I think you mean him, Pokedude14.
13:
One of the silhouettes at the bottom of this panel looks suspiciously like Gwimbly from Smiling Friends...
14:
Oh wow, for some reason I completely forgot Undyne's eyepatch, Jon Brouse!

EIGHTH PANEL
15:
Apparently, Waluigi is just wearing an eyepatch because it looks badass. It's lying on the ground in this panel and his eye looks fine.
16:
"Waluigi Number One" is, of course, a reference to Luigi's catchphrase (Luigi Number One).

Next week around this time, I'll reveal all the details. Details that have not been found will be marked italic.

We see Kirby flopping after the smoke clears. Was he in on it? Did he help Waluigi defeat the others? 🧞‍♀️

Panel 2’s retro character is Klayman from The Neverhood.
