Double Drop!!! Thanks Nat!

Happy Monday Nat. Hope you had a great weekend too. Enjoyed your Korra prem on Saturday. So many people watching it together. It was awesome 😊 Time to see what happens in the Invincible finale. You'll need to stop drinking water Nat and you'll start seeing some awesome stuff 😄 This show was just okay in my book. Some cool sequences, some shock moments and some good emotional beats. I enjoyed it while I was watching it for the most part, but overall not a season of tv that I would watch again. I enjoyed your reactions anyway Nat 😊

Mastervodo

Double Feature! Woo Hoo! Been waiting for this! I'm really looking forward to seeing how Nat reacts to the BIG REVEAL!

Navjot Singh

I would suggest you just do the Invincible Atom Eve Special episode and leave Season 2 for later.

jamie jones

Definitely do the atom eve special when you return to the show

LightsCameraJake

I love the changes coming to the channel! More movies is my preference. I have not been interested in 80% of any of the shows you have reacted to, but I think that is due to it mostly being superhero/ anime based and I been burned out on that stuff for hot min but nit apposed to coming back to it in the future.

Rey

Its not a bad time to take a break only 4 episodes of season 2 are out currently. Better for the algortihm to drop season 2 when the rest comes out later

Ariana Mitchell

i took a break after the atom eve episode. pretty sure the last two episodes i watched with a slack jaw and tears running down my face. the subway scene is so horrific, and nolan killing every single person mark tries to save. so dark.

Firewalker

If you enjoy the dramatic mixed with comedic moments in animated shows you should check out "The Legend of Vox Machina" It was in the top 10 for amazon prime for both seasons that have been released so far.

Mastervodo

+1 On the Atom Eve Special. Doesn't need to be right away, but if you decide to get into Season 2 - watch that one before starting the 2nd season. Also - FYI - 2nd season 1st 4 episodes are out - last 4 episodes are not yet. Probably going to drop once the whole Amazon Ads or pay more deal goes through.

Mastervodo

UPDATE AND BREAKING NEWS! Season 2 last 4 episodes announced to start March 14th, one per week! Also! - TODAY is the 21ST ANNIVERSARY of the Invincible #1 first comic book debut!

FW27

Glad you made it to the end!! Great reactions as always. Mark and Nolan’s fight gets me emotional every time. Taking a break from the show is definitely understandable. Honestly, I don’t know if much of the story would fully captivate you based on the first 4 episodes of season 2 and what I know to come based on the comics. But, it’ll be fun to see your reactions if you ever circle back!

DustinChecksIn

Natalie please consider the "American Frontier trilogy". Sicario, Hell or High Water, Wind River. All acclaimed with star studed casts. Emily Blunt, Bencio del Toro, Chris pine, Jeff bridges, Jeremy renner, Elizabeth Olsen. Real good watching

Mike Hell

Glad you were able to power through to the end of Season 1! I'll admit, after watching this show 3 times now, the cliffhangers and the last 2 episodes are what I really remember; there is a lot of filler/regular superhero show jargon that was kind of meh to get through. Totally understand waiting on season 2, since it's not finished anyway, and from reading comments above, the last episodes are releasing in March, so maybe April/May would be a good time to jump back in! If you want, obviously. Lots of other content out there.

PrayTellCaesar

This show has a lot of interesting characters and just... doesn't do anything with them. Felt like everyone who wasn't mark or omniman was pushed to the side. Wasn't the biggest fan of amber so her getting a lot more screen time just made me wish we got more eve or guardians.

Rogier Oude Heuvel

Soooo if you want more comedy in your animation, but still keep a more adult theme going on, Legend of Vox Machina is definitely a show you should give a go sometime. I know I keep repeating it, but I really believe it would be a great reaction from you.

Nick Luce

It's the first season, of course it's not going to focus a ton on every character. I feel like Debbie, Amber (even though she sucks), Eve, and Robot all got interesting setups and buildup. Even the mauler twins I think got satisfying story moments. I also recommend you watch the atom eve special, it's super good.

FireGamer95

Just FYI Rudolf "robots" original body is not a clone. That IS his original body. But he's in constant pain and was born incredibly disfigured, yet high intelligent. And, understandably, he wants himself, or at least a version of himself, to have his intellect, and a normal body. Loved your reaction though, as always! Can't wait to see you watch the Atom Eve special before S2, whenever you get around to it. And can't wait for the rest of Band of Brothers! It's one of my all time favorites.

Malak☆ملاك

So glad that i got to watch this season again with you cause i wasn’t paying attention when i first watched it

mr and mrs smith movie

Logan Kerlee

Really enjoyed watching this episode with you Natalie! I'm for sure looking forward to watching the second season with you whenever we get to that. :) This show's amazing in my book. I big enjoy this one! While I understand that isn't your thing - it really is mine. As for the show not containing an amount of comedy that you'd like - I don't know, I really savor the comedy in this! I admire that it isn't overblown or drowned in comedy. I very much prefer the way that this was presented! Let's go ahead and continue on with more movies in the mean time!

Logan Kerlee

It's insanity that the comic's been around for that long! I love this content so much. :) Very happy that Natalie's been watching.

Daniel McGuinness

The VISCERAL reaction when Nolan said “a pet.” 😭 SO REAL, VERY ME!!! You can tell that was the moment Mark knew too 😮‍💨

Sean

Season 1 plants the seeds. The comic did the same thing. Instead of having an arc spanning several issues where Mark faces one particular threat, the comic has an issue with a threat and then revisits that threat fifteen issues later. The show follows the same beat. Several characters and threats introduced in season 1 reappear in season 2 for the next part of their storyline with Invincible. There's one issue I hope they turn into an episode or at least end credits. It shows the origins of the Teen Team/Guardians of the Globe. When Rex says his "[childhood] already sucked", it doesn't hit as hard as it should because you don't know his backstory. Anyway, I hope you give season 2 a shot soon-ish. The second half of the season drops on March 14 and there is an Atom Eve special in addition to that.

selomith sanchez

If I could suggest movies it would be the Hunger Games trilogy and the new hunger games songbird that came out

Oliver

I love this show but i cant lie its heavily for avid comic book readers and superhero fans, its a lot easier to get passed some holes in the occasionally bland writing when all you wanna see is bad superman. A couple animated show ideas that in my opinion are way better than this and super underrated, which maaaybe you should check out; -Legend of Vox Machina -Castlevania+Castlevania Nocturne -Attack on Titan (if you ever wanna watch anime, insane storyline that hooks you right in, I'm not even into anime) -Bojack Horseman

Jason Dolan

Natalie with the MVP REACTION to the Pet remark - that’s why I pay my money - priceless and hilarious

Logan Kerlee

While I'd love to watch her react to Legend of Vox Machina I don't know if I'd enjoy it fully, knowing that she isn't a Critter on her own time. The animated series is fantastic, absolutely - but in order to fully enjoy it you've got to have a bit of a background in Dungeons and Dragons or the series online beforehand. Count me in on the rest, though! I'd be all in on a reaction for Castlevania/Castlevania Nocturne! Attack on Titan is a fantastic watch!! I'd be all for a watchalong for that but I don't know if she'd be willing to stick with it for it's full 89 episode run. Bojack Horseman would be a lot of fun but I don't know if she'd get hooked on it for it's full run of 77 episodes.

Oliver

That's definitely true, while I didn't have any experience with DnD I was a big fan of fantasy movies and shows, and in the same way as invincible the fans of the medium get a much better experience from it At the same time, and this is probably just my bad opinion, but I feel like Vox Machina's humor and action is leagues ahead of most of invincible (Don't get me wrong, huge invincible fan too). I was mainly into it for that, the DnD references, if there were a lot, must've mostly went over my head and I still heavily enjoyed it, second season ain't as good though..

Daniel McGuinness

The tear in space… 😮‍💨🥹 Nolan obviously says and does a ton of horrific things in these episodes, none of which is really justifiable, but I think it’s so interesting to see him battle between his (countless) years of conditioning and brainwashing by the Viltrumits empire, and his real human emotions for his wife and son. He cares about them but he’s not sure WHY because he’s not really SUPPOSED to, they were just part of the mission but you can see he was desperate not to lose them. Marks final admission to his father that he’d still have him, even after everything he’d done, was too much for Nolan to take 🥺 this show man ugh!! WE MADE IT

Mike Hell

I'm glad somebody else appreciated and mentioned the emotion in this fight. Nolan's actions are unforgivable. Of course they are, he killed thousands during his fight with Mark. But it doesn't make him any less of an emotional character when we see the tiniest glimpse of his humanity smash through 1000+ years of Viltrumite Nationalism, leaving him questioning his entire existence. The obvious choice for him is to kill Mark and continue is mission, but he can't do it. If it were anyone else in the universe, he’d just kill him. But that “I’d have you, dad” line just destroyed him. Over 1000 years old and less than 20 years of being on Earth turns him into a human…

jamie jones

We said there was an after credit every episode because every one except 7 and 8 had one and we knew you might miss some in the beginning and we tried to prevent it. Remember omni-man killing the guardians was post credit. Imagine missing that. But i do hope you get back to invincible while the characters and plot are still fresh in your mind. More movies sound good too, i mean we had to wait 2 years for season 2 so thats fair. Though I do Wish you would’ve ended with the atom eve special because it’s really good.
