I can't deal with this... I found the styles so distracting that I really couldn't tell what was happening most of the time. In the first movie the Spider-People each had their own style but the movie itself had a singular, consistent style. This movie is kind of the opposite and I can't keep up. Also, he really SHOULD be able to save his dad because he already had his major death story play out in the first one when he lost Uncle Aaron. Spider-Man loses one person to teach him responsibility, that's all he needs. After that he only loses people when he needs a reminder of his responsibilities which Miles hasn't lost sight of. These people need to actually read the source material.

On second watch, i just noticed the spider being so closed to biting Earth42 Miles but then getting sucked away, during Spot's story telling
