Hope you had a good weekend too and stayed safe 🤗 No rain here in Scotland for a good few days now, but we are in minus overnight temperatures, so plenty of frosty, chilly weather to wake up to 😬 Looking forward to watching The Boys final 2 shows this week, and also getting back to TLOU 😊 "Shit's getting crazy!" 😄 For sure Nat. This show is so much fun. Fun fact: the story the doc tells Homelander about the baby is how it played out in the comics, I believe.

I wonder why Hughie didn't bring up to Annie that they were working with the CIA now. Or the fact that he thought Butcher was a Fed in the beginning. It doesn't make using her okay, but it could've at least bought him more time to try and reason with her. Honestly, he just did an awful job of trying to explain himself.

It's so common in TV to create tension: have characters explain themselves poorly or withhold information that they have no logical reason to withhold. It basically accounts for half of the artificial tension that would occur in a lot of 2010ish films' 3rd acts where the main character and the best friend/partner have a falling out over some misunderstanding like this.

Marcel is a movie worthy of an executive decision. It's not very popular but its extremely precious and a great way to lighten up the mood after The Last of Us.

Ya know I feel bad for The Deep as well mostly because I feel like he is the way he is because of Homelander. When people are being abused they tend to take it out on others and repeat the same behaviors. Same thing with A-Train. He's an asshole to everyone else but his behavior shifts around Homelander. I think everyone would be better without him.
