Hey folks!

As dissatisfying as it is to be releasing this final episode on a Monday and NOT a Wednesday, I am really excited to be wrapping this season with you all. It was such a fun ride!

Just giving you all a heads up as well. This week will have slightly less content as I was traveling from Friday-Sunday and need some time this week to play catch up. Here is the schedule for those that are curious:

MON: Wednesday S1E8
WED: The Boys S1E3
FRI: Movie poll winner from last week (I'm currently writing this before that poll has released haha)

As always, thank you so much for your support. Take care and stay golden :)

I love the line in the sand for Nat's suspension of disbelief. Magic can raise a man from the dead, but not make him look a little better than a 200 year old corpse or heal Wednesday lol

Squ33ky

That axting from Eugene oooomphhh ouch Good episade even with that lol

Chris Lane- Venturi 3D

I really hope Principal Weems survives, seems bad to kill her off that quickly and I think Gwendoline Christie is so great as Weems. The rest of the cast is amazing as well, so definitely looking forward to season 2.

Soon as I started the series I got the vibe that it would be like Harry Potter, in the sense that each season will be another year at Nevermore with another mystery to solve. Heck I'm here for it, that formula works, it allows to introduce new characters each season in the form of new students and teachers which opens up a lot of possibilities.

Thanks Nat for picking this show! Also realized the resurrection of Crackstone was a subtle nod to another great Burton movie: Sleepy Hollow!

Keith Jacobsen

Fun reactions Nat, the butler's name is Lurch, by the way.

FatLittleButterfly

Enid rushed out to save Wednesday, knowing the danger and not being to transform at that time. True best friend anyone can have

Issa so surprised that this was so well written and how much I’d love her character. Nat I know it’s not winning polls but I know you’d love & appreciate Andor. 2 other suggestions on Apple: hysterical single season of the dark Irish comedy of Bad Sisters & then Gary Oldman in Slow Horses. The latter is an MI5 drama that Oldman is magnificent and it’s actually dark comedy too but more drama. (Ok Severence too) If I had to choose I’d have to go with Bad Sisters. Even if it’s just for Patreon - please, please, please. Thanks✌️🥶💙

Fun fact, the heart is actually located at the centre of the chest, but the heart itself is not symmetrical and most of it is located at the left.

Great Reaction Natalie! This has been one of most pleasant surprises on Netflix! There was never a dull moment! Did you notice that Wednesday never cursed! I hope Wednesday will inspire the younger generation to read a lot of books and absorb some natural knowledge! My recommendation will be a series on Neflix called 'Warrior Nun' It has two seasons!

The heart is located in the center of chest, behind the breast bone but only slightly left of center. Most people (and movies/series) get confused by the fact that you feel your heartbeat to the left, but that's actually where your left lung is. This show actually came closer (a little high, but why quibble) than 99% I've seen.

im avoiding watching this series because i dont want my nostalgia sullied. Remakes tend to be so. I remember Wednesday as a nialistic goth, chat....... does it hold up?

Eddie Green

Remakes aren't always so. The Buffy TV show is orders of magnitude better than the movie that preceded it, for example. I think 'nihilistic goth' is definitely a label that could apply to Jenna Ortega's Wednesday. Plus Christina Ricci is a supporting character in this if that helps your nostalgia.

Late to the party as usual, but thank you for asking the most pressing question of the entire show: What happened to Thornhill? Did Wednesday stomp her to death (she does tell Eugene to look away)? With Tyler, we get to see his fate (though not his ultimate fate). But nothing with Thornhill. She jus' gawn.

Funny you mentioned awards for wardrobe because the show has been nominated for 12 Emmys including Jenna Ortega for best lead actress, Tim Burton for best director, Danny Elfman for Best Soundtrack, as well as noms for best wardrobe, best traditional makeup, and best title sequence.
