You should watch Ready Player One, it's really good

Nya

Interstellar please😩🤧

Kyle

I really need you to get to the latest of the planet of the apps films there so good!!!

Anonymous

Star wars the force awakens is such a meh movie. While interstellar is one if the greatest movies ever made. Please watch it

Lucky Dragon ‘She.They’

Suppose it’s finally time to endure the sequel trilogy. Been a long time coming

Anonymous

Not a fan of the choices on this one. Had to go with the one that's iconic but just "okay" 🙂

AC5555

2001 Space Odyssey, Contact & Arrival need to be on this list.

Darryl Low

It has to be SW:TFA Nat, because I'm dying to see what you make of it 😊

Anonymous

I loved Ready Player One, and it's different enough from the book to be a standalone and judged on its own merit. ❤️

My Toasty Toast

Its amazing how big this community has grown. I remember subscribing on YouTube when Nat reacted to Empire Strikes Back and joining her Patreon a year and a half ago. Now she’s had a poll for less than a minute and there are already 200 votes

Anonymous

Kinda hope you watch transformers one day.

Alex B

I can always watch interstellar

Danishprince

Very difficult poll.. Force Awakens and Reloaded would be awesome so you can finish those trilogies but Interstellar is just such a magnificent experience

dieselbeast

I hate that there's no movie reaction on Wednesdays now but I get it you have a life and need a break during the week, next poll should be which gangster movie should I watch, Scarface, Goodfellas, Carlitos way or the godfather 😁🙏

Anonymous

Interstellar is my favorite movie of all time Would love to watch it again with your reaction on top

AC5555

Highly recommend seeing The Clone Wars instead if you want Star Wars content. Yes it’s long but it’s far better and each episode is only twenty minutes. You could watch six to seven episodes/ viewing. About the same as a two hour film.

Danishprince

If she were to watch it, it would probably be 2 episodes per viewing like she's doing with Avatar

Anonymous

Please consider some of these excellent and twisty mind-bending sci-fi's for a poll in the future: Dark City Moon The Jacket Ex Machina Arrival Frequency

AC5555

I’d rather see her get into The Clone Wars.

Anonymous

I'd really love for Natalie to do the new Planet of the Apes trilogy. Those movies are more exceptional than they have any right to be.

Boomcity

Does anyone know if Nat is ever open to suggestions? I wonder if she would be interested in starting Twin Peaks.

Zakk Pierce

Oh God please no to the sequels

Casen Jamvo

Oh gosh please yes to the sequels

Timothy O'Hara

Please please watch intersellar it’s absolutely astonishing even on rewatch

Joe Blankenship

Hopefully we get a poll with some good comedies soon. Wayne's World, Billy Madison, Tommy Boy, Step Brothers, etc

Mike LL

Patrons keep dangling classic movies in front of me all the time in Patreon polls. They rarely win. Here, the original Planet of the Apes, which should be required viewing for every sci-fi fan. Here we go again.

Whovian Prakash

I voted for The Force Awakens even if it is not the best film on that list. Don't get me wrong, I liked The Force Awakens but I think Interstellar is better and Planet of the Apes is a classic. But still I wanted to see Nat react to The Force Awakens, and the rest of the trilogy. Once again, I did NOT hate the sequel trilogy like many Star Wars fans did.

Jomero

I will never, ever suggest someone watch the Matrix sequels. Ever. Even if it results in a "fun" cringe reaction recording. Nope. It's far better to just enjoy the first movie and let it be a perfect and complete story in your mind.

Brian Jones

Going to go with Star Wars here.... Would like to see you finish out the series of films. I know there are mixed opinions regarding a few of them, but film is subjective and I'm always interested in your take. As far as the Planet of the Apes films go, I know there are purists out there that will argue until the end of time regarding the original, but I would much rather you watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) and continued that series. It's far better realized with a consistent throughline. The 68 film, and it's less beloved sequels, really don't hold up too well past Heston's performance.

Danishprince

She is always open to suggestions - That is how she decides which movies and shows makes it into the polls. She sees what gets requested and suggested a lot and then polls it :)

Anonymous

The original Planet of the Apes is waaay better than the other choices.

Curaitis

Brace yourself Nat for seeing for yourself how Disney destroyed the Skywalker Saga (aka Luke and Anakin, and they succeed as you can see in some comments here) and i fear you will like it. The female lead is the epitome of a MarySue and yes i totally dislike the Sequels for what they are. There is a reason why everyone who understand Movies and Star Wars dislike the Sequels.

Anonymous

Edge Of Tomorrow...a sci-fi action film that's fun and full of surprises

Jenny Tolls

Omg I am so tired of seeing Interstellar lose!! Let her watch it lol and then we can do Star Wars. We all know she’ll get to it eventually regardless.

Al Baughman

Yes finish off the Star Wars saga. Let the hate flow! LOL

Anonymous

Hmm. I vote for Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003). It’s the best Star Trek movie there is. :D

Lawson

INTERSTELLAR

Anonymous

Interstellar and it's not even close. Would win based on soundtrack alone

Joel

If you picked Star Wars over Interstellar then you’re a verified simp lol

Anonymous

If you do Star Wars, go into it with an open mind. Most people like the new movies, but there's a pretty toxic minority of the fanbase that aggressively hates it

Randee Carreno

Happy Wednesday, Natalie! 😊 "Interstellar" definitely got my vote. If by chance "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" wins, I figure get the sequel trilogy out of the way so that you can catch up on season 1 of "The Book of Boba Fett"(the last episode came out last week). Have a great day today! 😊 Stay Golden! 💛

Tay Schumaker

The toxic part doesn't really hit till 2 and 3 of the ST. I don't consider myself toxic but I think most of the ST is largely trash or the OT regurgitated.

David

Have some class folks. Planet of the Apes. Star Wars is unworthy.

Anonymous

interstellar fans STAY IN LINE 🗣🗣 😭

Anonymous

Interstellar is my favorite sci-fi movie. Must have seen it 10 times already!

Nemesis

Star Wars is cool but everything uncool starts off with the force awakens but I think ima choose that and hope to see u cringe lol

Anonymous

Could you please watch First Man with Ryan Gosling soon :)

Anonymous

Force Awakens was good but there's no need to go past that one to be honest. It deviated far too far from the series in Episode 8

Sonia Deepak

Not sure if you’ve seen Gattaca before but that might be worth adding to future polls.

David Crabtree

Well the whole point of her channel is to react to these movies and let her decide on her own, it's not a "just have Natalie watch only the things we think are good or only things we think she will like".

David Crabtree

I'm excited to see your reaction to the Force Awakens and rhe rest of the sequel trilogy. I have no idea if you'll like them or not, but they should be some fun reactions.

Niklas

I really want you to finish the Star Wars movies. Should be done even if it doesn't win the poll, since your first reactions were to Star Wars.

Eik104

Apes ftw!

Anonymous

Sunshine (2007). Dir. Danny Boyle. Very underrated movie.

Rev.J

I agree with both Kyle & Rick. But as a fan you’d be wanting expose Natalie to quality. So I’m clicking on SW: TFA, but I’m wincing as I do it.

David Crabtree

Unworthy of what? A reaction? This isn't a poll for best movie, which is purely subjective anyhow.

Anonymous

Excellent cast, excellent concept, totally underrated movie

Rey

I vote for apes everytime I see it and every time it is third place lol I hate it

Cory Silver

Well at least Planet of the Apes isn't last... Can't beat the Star Wars crew though.

Keenan Bartlome

If your gonna watch a Nolan movie I’d say tenet over interstellar.

Anonymous

I'd watch Matrix 2 a thousand times before the Sequel Trilogy. TFA is only watchable as it's compared to episodes 8 and 9; the worst two movies I've ever seen.

RandomAndysChannel

A bit disappointed that the original Planet of the Apes isn't winning because it's a classic and it's really good. Worth watching. But of course Star Wars in in first. No suprise there

Tony Johnson

I voted for the original Planet of the Apes movie since it's a pop culture and sci-fi classic, but I'd suggest skipping its sequels and jumping straight to the more recent reboot trilogy, Rise of, Dawn of, and War for the Planet of the Apes.

Josh Baker

There are *quite* a lot of things she would still need to watch to fully enjoy BoBF

Anonymous

Can we get Annihilation back on the poll? An amazing sci-fi movie.

David

I've pretty much come to hate the fandom at this point. The obsession must end. Like even Disney ran it into the ground and yet the obsession persists.

Endling_king

stargate is a great sci fi movie to watch

Richard Maurer

Star Wars sequels = Game of Thrones season 8 (for those who don't get it - they're both TRASH).

Sammy Rebbo

Star Wars easily gets my vote for this one! While I didn't care much for RoS, I really like The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. I'm curious to see what you think of them.

calum1

Thank god star war is winning this, dont get me wrong the trilogy is ass. But if you’ve seen the rest of the films they’re kinda a must watch at least once

Chris Chatham

Consider Stargate for your next sci-fi poll, and The Men Who Stare at Goats for the next comedy.

Anonymous

I wish I could exchange my vote for something with a vote against something.

Anonymous

I feel it's time to just rip the band aid with both SW and Matrix, and then move on and not have them hanging there.

JokerDanny

please add gotham to tv polls

Anonymous

Matrix Reloaded, since you watched Matrix 1 already

Anonymous

If she wants sci-fi I think she should do demolition man

Anonymous

Planet of the Apes!!

John Rando

Gross! The new Star Wars Trilogy 🤢🤮

Jason Dolan

Awesome! Excited for you to watch the new Star Wars trilogy. Without having to wait years in between and speculating on end, will be fun to just watch you watch it play out.

SuicuneSol

Star Wars isn't a sci-fi... but probably a watch sooner or later. Personally vouching for Planet of the Apes since older movies are rather rare to see on your channel recently.

John

The Matrix trilogy and the Star Wars sequels (7, 8, 9) should all be viewed as a complete trilogy.

Lawson

interstellar is the best movie i’ve ever seen PLEASE

Lawson

we’re in the trenches rn 😭😭 star wars fans kicking our asses

It Hurt A Lot

Whether the new Star Wars are good or not I want to see her react to them. I personally liked the first and third ones

Lawson

not kidding i will personally venmo anyone that changes their vote to Interstellar

Anonymous

Star wars isn't a stand alone though. Watching TFA means starting the trilogy.

Anonymous

I feel so bad that you have to watch the sequel trilogy now

Anonymous

@Micah-Shook I’m an easy sellout Edit: guys, he wasn’t joking

Eric Janssen

And Last Jedi survivors know what THAT means...Although most fans who liked Force Awakens just prefer to leave it there, and just imagine better fanfiction stories than we got.

Anonymous

Interstellar is my personal favorite on the list, but I think Planet of the Apes is more important to the culture and history of sci-fi flim.

JarHead0351

Planet Of the Apes is a classic and a must and then the series it takes a dive & Star Wars: The force Awakens is a great series - can bypass Interstellar kind of boring

Robert Reichle

I liked all three, so it's all good for me. And I like everything on the poll, so... let's do it all!

Anonymous

Anything but the new stars wars trilogy

Dooly

None of them.

Anonymous

I would love to see what you think of an older movie like Planet of the Apes. It's kind of corny by modern standards, but its still really good. The idea behind it all is interesting. But I agree with others in this thread. If you watch the first one, you need to watch all of them.

Elvenwitch

Agreed, the way those apes acted like they were riding horses. I still can't wrap my mind around it.

Anonymous

All are good, but I'm a huge Star Wars geek.

Powers209

Galaxy Quest! or Wrath of Khan. They're both the best Star Trek movies ever made.

Nathan Swapp

I guess Star Wars is technically Sci-fi but I wouldn't normally group it together with the generic Sci-fi options. Star wars being its own thing and "sci-fi" votes would be things like Galaxy Quest, interstellar, Starship Troopers, stuff like that.

Richard Ryan

It's worth mentioning that Star Trek I and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan are so different from each other you could jump right over #1 and not miss a thing... at all... If you do watch ST2 though it might help if you see Star Trek (Original Series) Season 1, Ep. 23 -- "Space Seed".

Anonymous

While the Star Wars sequel trilogy is poorly received by the majority of the fanbase (huge understatement) myself included, it would still be cool to hear your point of view on it all.

The Golgothan

Honestly if you're gunna watch more Star Wars stuff, I'd recommend the Clone Wars series or Book of Boba Fett. The sequel trilogy is a dumpster fire (The force Awakens isn't as bad as The Last Jedi or Rise of Skywalker but it's not good either) Honestly, I'd vote OG Planet of the Apes but there are more great sci-fi movies that you should watch. If I could write one in off the top of my head it'd be Alita Battle Angel.

Saifu

Since you have a Nolan film on this list, I would recommend to give Tenet a shot if you haven't seen it yet. The movie has mixed reception, but has some really interesting and ambitious concepts that is really worth a watch imo. Also give Matt Reeves' Planet of the Apes trilogy a shot too if you also haven't seen it yet. It's arguably one of the best sci-fi movie trilogy that came out in the past decade.

Hugh Jacked-Man

When are we doing book of boba fett

Opti_Frog

Star Wars is not sci-fi 😛

Anonymous

watch Euphoria please

Dominykas Veiveris

If Star Wars wins, please still do Interstellar later :)

Brian Jones

I think the prevailing wisdom here is that she's already seen it. So why not let her experience the SW films for the first time. Considering how well Interstellar did in this poll, even though she has already seen it, I'm sure she will get to it eventually.

Dan

I'd love to see GATTACA on this channel, or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind :)

serendib

No offense Nat but this is a loaded poll. With these 4 choices it's pretty obvious which one will win even before a single vote is cast.

Anonymous

Galaxy Quest!

DarkJokester

I love watching first time reactions even if they are to terrible movies like TFA. What confuses me is why a movie that isen't a first time reaction gets added to most polls? In this case Interstellar.. that slot could have been used for a better movie.

Danishprince

Because 1000's and 1000's of people keep requesting Interstellar and Nattie has mentioned several times that she would like to revisit it as she watched it years ago on a flight which really isn't the best experience for such a movie :)

serendib

Star Wars is, more than technically, not Sci-fi. The whole franchise is built on something that is more than anything else a religious concept (ie. The Force).

Anonymous

This is tough! I want you to watch the sequel trilogy, but Interstellar is incredible! I'm very curious to know what you think of Star Wars, because I believe the new ones aren't as bad as everyone says. I watched all of them for the first time, and then saw Episode 9 in theaters, so I really think even the old ones aren't that much better than the new ones. I get it for nostalgia purposes, but as movies, they're all pretty solid, good movies

Anonymous

Noo not fucking force awakens, fuck that shitpile of mediocrity. Interstellar all the way! I get the love from SW fans, but come on, the two movies are not even the same fucking product, they are so far away from each other.

Erik Stevenson

Echoing a few others, I voted Interstellar but don't mind going ahead and knocking out the Sequel Trilogy - just be prepared for certain segments of the fanbase to get mad at your opinions (regardless of what those opinions actually are).

Erik Stevenson

Not really accurate based on the poll results; TFA has a clear lead but it by no means ran away with it.

Henri

Seeing that TFA is probably going to take the cake here, I would recommend watching the "Everything Great About" videos for that, as well as the other two sequel movies. Whether you come into those videos with a positive, negative, or neutral opinion, he has a lot to offer, and is also pretty entertaining.

Henri

Also I realize its not really sci-fi but I highly recommend the new Planet of the Apes trilogy with Andy Serkis; the CGI is phenomenal, and the performances (especially from the apes) are really good.

Richard Maurer

So sick of being labeled as "toxic" for not liking the sequels when the truth is I just don't like bad films, and I really don't like them when they're supposed to complete a series of much better films.

Anonymous

Go ole skool James Gunn and do Slither

Anonymous

Finally the sequel trilogy😭😭

Chris Chatham

Stop engaging the topic. Clearly several of us would like to see it. Whether she does it or not you won't be obligated to watch it. You said yourself you can't relate to people who like them, sounds toxic. 🤷

Angel Sanchez

Well, I do love Interstellar But I have not seen the new Star Wars Movies, judging by some of the comments maybe I should skip them lol

Brian Jones

That seems to be a very popular theory on the internet, but the box office take for those films completely contradicts that narrative. Did the films split the fanbase? Sure.... But it takes a whole lot of repeat viewing to get a film over $1 billion.... And all three films cleared a billion dollars each.

John

They have their problems, but they can still be enjoyed. Some people love them.

Dooly

Book of Boba Fett isn’t any better. Don’t lie to yourself.

Dooly

That’s the correct response, tears of horror that that garbage fire is winning.

James Zagame

Oh god... why do we have to watch the new trilogy? I don't wanna subject myself to them again.

GoodDocGonzo

Sounds like you should just cancel your membership until there is something you'd like to watch.

GoodDocGonzo

Or Tromeo & Juliet. I remember Gunn's earlier, schlocky films...and they're great.

Jor Dooger

WARRIOR (2011) a movie about deep family trauma and redemption based around a MMA competition. far deeper than your average action drama movie. definitely worth a watch.

Adrian

Why? She might enjoy herself. Let her have that experience and make up her own mind.

Anonymous

If you haven’t seen it yet reaction to Gladiator one day would be great. One of my favourites. Epic movie

Anonymous

She has done that already....Check through her YouTube channel

ButtyOh

Great the crap film won. Would have literally picked anything other than the pile of garbage known as Force Awakens

Anonymous

Don't listen to the Haters! The Force awakens may not have been all it could have been but is still highly entertaining. That said, I voted for Planet of the apes. There is a reason it was one of the most successful sci fir films of it's time.

Stephen Lewis

Would love to see her react to the first two Terminator films, unless she's already watched those in the past. Those two would be good Sci-Fi reaction material imo.

Anonymous

Please watch some miyazaki films

Anonymous

The two I’ld love… for marvel, the much hated ang Lee Hulk, which I love, so much ham… the other is Moon, starring Sam Rockwell and directed by David bowie’s son… kinda like the Martian, but also not very much like the Martian

Anonymous

Force Awakens.... [facepalm]

Anonymous

These comments lol, Force Awakens is a good movie. The hate for the sequels didn't start until The Last Jedi because fans didn't like how Luke was handled.

Anonymous

"Tank girl" is a great sci-fi flick

Anonymous

Natalie!!! Your Star Wars Episode 3 hit 1 million views, you should continue with 7, 8, and 9

Anonymous

I legit only got on patreon and subscribed to Nat for the simple reason of wanting to somehow suggest interstellar. Log on for the first time and see it in a poll. Then to find out people want her to watch the horrible new Star Wars trilogy instead of Interstellar 🤦🏻‍♂️

Ryan Cornett

Disney Star Wars Sequals are not George Lucas or Marsha Lucas(one of editors of Star Wars episode 4) approved. In fact both gave them horrible remarks. It’s an easy search for what they said. Notice all the training Luke got before he faced Vader. Then notice how much training Rey gets before fighting Kylo Ren. All the actors new fans would not like story, but the director and producers rejected George’s outline, and you will see the result.

Anonymous

Hey look the New Hope reboot won. Yay! 😆

Anonymous

Yeah.......the newer SW movies were not very good. Very disconjointed, you can CLEARLY tell they had no idea what they were doing movie to movie. Not to mention they just make stuff up that...well...kinda breaks the entire story lol.

Anonymous

You really should watch the newer planet of the apes films , rise, dawn and war . Amazing trilogy. Old ones are ok but nothing on this trilogy.in this genre I’d also recommend ready player one , arrival , Kong skull island , Godzilla 2014 , Prometheus , Jurassic world , life , new Star Trek

Vanessa Akam-Laurent

Not sure if here is the right place to post this (first time on Patreon) but I am very surprised that no one recommended Downton Abbey and/or the Golden Girls as series to watch…

Drzergberg

Children of Men
