Love to see you stick this through. This tv show is very much rewarding in terms of character development. Also it's ahead of it's time for a children's show in the mid 2000's.

Definitely a top tier movie, a must watch after finishing the TV show. Magnificent CGI, truly makes us believe we are in the world of ATLA. The storyline is also a masterclass in how to condense many episodes into a movie without losing any important content or character progression.

I'm enjoying watching it so far with her...but this will be my 6th time watching if I continue. I guess it depends on if she really gets into it. It's a good sign that she's liking it so far. It only gets better and better, so I do hope she sticks with it.

Suggestion: Instead of trying to conduct the opening theme, maybe try to do the elemental bending movements that they do in the sequence. Gs up

So nice to see you enjoy it, I'm glad to hear you like Uncle Iroh, he's my favourite character hahaha, and yeah the evolution of the characters is really well done all along the show, you will be surprised later how the show can be so interesting and deep with them. Concerning your associated element I would have thought more of water than air hahaha, and concerning myself I would have picked fire (emotional/passionate side hahaha) or water ( for the cold/icy side, I love winter and snow hahaha) I can't wait for the next double episodes hahaha I hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden! 💛

The show has some mature themes, has some great storytelling and is enjoyable by people of all ages, but it’s still definitely a kids’ show.

“I like Iroh. He’s sweet.” Iroh, voiced by the amazing Mako, is the OG best character across both Avatar series. He’s the parental figure most of us wish we had, and few are lucky enough to ever get. You are going to love him. A truly wholesome and good character, who learned from past mistakes and deep personal tragedy.

I like how the show starts off slow and it seems like such a simple little kids show at first. I can’t wait for Nat to see where this journey goes and where it takes all the characters! I really think she’s gonna enjoy this!

I think she’ll be hooked once she gets to the end of the season. It only gets better with book 2!

Most of the animals in the Avatar-verse are mash-ups. The flying bison, for instance, are a bison crossed with a manatee, while flying lemurs are lemur-bats who actually behave a lot like cats. The Fire Nation's steeds in Episode 4 are komodo rhinos.

I have no idea what version she's watching but full length is really difficult to sync up. She has commercials or something? idk less than three minutes in and it was out of sync already.

Uncle Iroh is my hero. Edit: The boys are 12 and 16 respectively so yes of course they have some growing. The fun thing about TV is they can do the growing in 20 minutes.

Not going to lie, I very nearly skipped this reaction because of the name. I never do abbreviations for shows/movies and I don't think that I've ever heard someone call Avatar The Last Airbender ATLA before. :-/ No idea, but okie doke. I'm about to watch and enjoy these two episodes! :)

I’m 39 and watched this series for the first time last year. Both this series and Korra are great. You’ll enjoy them
