HAPPY MARVEL MONDAY!!

Thought I would revamp the schedule a little so that What If is posted on Mondays and Tuesdays and we can have Marvel Mondays for the time being :) Loving how fun this show is so far (although this episode was kinda depressing haha).

Also it's time for a SCHEDULE UPDATE:

Because the last poll for a new series was so close, I'm going to be watching Chernobyl and THEN Avatar: The Last Airbender!! To get started, I'll be doing 2 episodes of What If and 2 of Chernobyl per week. Once we wrap Chernobyl, I'll do an update on what the schedule will look like with Avatar.

Thanks so much for your support here on Patreon and ✨stay golden!✨

Great news, I was really rooting for Chernobyl, such a fantastic and important story!

Danishprince

Marvel Mondays continues, woo! Excited for the Chernobyl reactions - Think you're really gonna like it <3

Wheelmagic

Awesome can’t wait!

Tay Schumaker

I was hoping you'd end up doing both since Chernobyl is so short and the vote was close. Good deal

Darryl Low

Happy Marvel Monday Nat. Hope you had a great weekend. Awesome stuff. Can't wait to dive into all these new shows with you. Really glad you are watching Chernobyl then Avatar. Makes perfect sense 😊 That was a pretty dark instalment of What If, but was an interesting idea. Time is definitely not to be messed around with. "Uhuh ok sure yes, just what I was thinking" 😂 he he Thanks for another great reaction today Nat 💛

........ATLA won the poll it should be first..........WTF

Jacketb

Chernobyl is 5 episodes and ATLA is 54 episodes, makes sense to do the short one first.

Edgar

I'm pretty new to your patreon. Mainly for Logan watch a long whenever that happens. But had no clue chernobyl is happening. One of my favorite shows in recent years

Randee Carreno

Happy Marvel Monday, Natalie! :) This one, and an episode that you haven't watched yet is tied for my top favorite episodes of the season. I'm watching this reaction right away. Loved hearing Benedict Cumberbatch back as Doctor Strange. Have a great day today! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Joe Blankenship

I hope we get back to 2 movies a week soon.

This is the episode that really sold me on the What If...? series. Prior to it, I had mixed feelings, but after this one I was absolutely hooked.

Dante

Chernobyl is a masterpiece. My favorite Miniseries. Can't wait!

Danishprince

The poll is more of a guideline anyway. Avatar is a must watch but Chernobyl only lost by 20 votes and is only 5 episodes. It makes more sense that all Avatar voters waits another 2.5 weeks than all Chernobyl voters waits half a year :)

Ben Wheeler

I think this episode changed everything about where the tone of the MCU could go.

Robert C

I voted for ATLA, because it's the only one I've seen, but it's such a commitment. I was thinking that I hoped you would do Chernobyl first because it got a lot of traction and it's so short. Easy to knock out and then go to ATLA, which you'll be in for a while if you stick it out to the end. Which you should do because even though ATLA starts a little slow, once it kicks off, it really is fantastic.

Brian Jones

Strap in Nat..... Chernobyl is absolutely brilliant, and I'm so glad you're watching it, but keep plenty of tissues on hand.

Kraps

This episode is one of my favorite pieces of media, soo good.

I am thrilled that you are watching Chernobyl. One of my favourite series of all time!!!

David Crabtree

Chernobyl will be a fun change of pace. It's one of those warm, feel good shows. A little sappy and cheesy in spots, but really tugs on the heart strings.

Rich House

Looking forward to Chernobyl and ATLA will be nice, but a moment of silence for all Arcane voters who knew it would have been great.

My Toasty Toast

She’s probably gonna do like two episodes at a time like how she did in the early wandavision reactions ‘cause they’re so short. So it’s going to be like 4 episodes a week rather than the normal two

Christian Rennie

This is gonna be a great start to the new year with Avatar and Chernobyl. For this episode of What If... I couldn't get Pokemon theme song for Strange out of my head in the middle of this one.

Myles Away

I love this episode. Easily my favourite of the series. I love how tragic it is. I like that they took the concept seriously and did not riddle it with bad jokes.

chicks dig me

Why does avatar get so much criticism?

Jomero

I kind of didn't watch each episode of What If. I cherry picked which ones I wanted to watch in order, since the comics they were based on were self-contained I figured show was too. [Warning: Potential Theory-spoilers from a person who hasn't seen the whole series] I was ultimately disappointed by this episode, and I have nobody but myself to blame. And because of it, I sort of didn't watch any other What Ifs. How was I to blame? Well, I was pretty sure I had figured out the ending of the episode. I thought Strange's "pennance" would be that he would have to go back in time and the the person who CAUSED each of the tragedies. We never saw the driver's face. We never saw the hooded person in the diner, etc. I thought "Oh wow! That's brilliant! This will be great!" And then... it didn't end that way. Now, I will reiterate that I stopped watching What Ifs after that. And my friends told me, after telling them about my disappointment, that I still need to "Watch them all." So as far as I currently know, I am not spoiling anything. I will watch the rest of the episodes along with Nat.

Matt D

If you haven't already, check out The Green Knight. It's a masterpiece.

Alvin Baca

I cannot wait until you get too what if episode 8. Yay marvel mondays! Also getting excited that youre doing x men, im so stoked for you to see logan.

Kevin Bartelen

The big thing that ruins this episode for me is when Strange is told Christine has to die for him to become the Sorcerer Supreme, but we all know a version of events where that isn't the case. It's such a huge hole in what otherwise might have been a really touching story.

Kevin Bartelen

Personally, when he started absorbing things and at one point looked like Mephisto, I thought this was going to be an origin story for an MCU Mephisto. That expectation didn't pan out either

Choof

I always took it to mean that in that universe she has to die to spur him to become a sorcerer and beat dormammu and that trying to stop that is like if the doctor strange we knew used the time stone to go back and stop his injuries from happening.

This_Jedi_crafts

I thought this episode (upon first watch) was really a bummer (meaning dark) but I guess that's what a glimpse into all of the alternate realities is meant for. BUT it did inspire me (as a huge Doctor Strange fan) to build a Doctor Strange Supreme Cosplay for NYCC this year. Loved trying to show the dark side of the character. Excited for Nat's reactions to the remaining episodes of the season. Always a great treat (for me, in my time zone) after work. Excited to see Chernobyl too - because I hear it's amazing. I didn't want to watch originally because real life tragedies always get to me but people have told me it's a must watch to see everything that lead up to it. Strapping in for the ride!

Travis

I wasn’t a huge fan of this series but I thought this was the best episode

JPOlsen

Loved this episode! WAS able to hear your back crack. ooff!

Wu Sha Ling

buy an industrial pack of tissues miss. you're going to need it for chernobyl

Daniel Vezina

Hope you'll do Arcane after Avatar

Jayson Phillips

I lived through the Chernobyl time period and even I didn't know all this stuff!

Logan Kerlee

Enjoyed watching this one with ya. Looking forward to the next one. :) lol, yup. Totally heard your back crack at that point.

Logan Kerlee

I'm really looking forward to Avatar! That'll be a lot of fun to watch with you. :)

Anonymous

well at least there will be 3 weeks of good Monday/Tuesday content, Avatar is a kids show (also incredibly boring), so, I wont be watching that. So no Mondays and Tuesday for me for a few months lol.

Tayyib Majumder

Once you’re caught up with MCU Disney plus would you ever consider the Netflix Marvel shows such as Daredevil and the punisher

LJ Mickey

Marvel is doing something right, when you're emotionally invested in a cape.

Daniel Drew

Woooooooo!!!! Can't wait for ATLA!!

Connor Ellis

That wasn't entirely voice modulation. That's just Benedict Cumberbatch being a fucking boss at Voice Acting.

Marcus Carter

dude after watching No way home, I just now realized that "What if" is going to connect to the movies, don't know why I thought "What if" was a stand-alone considering it's Marvel. Dr. Strange and the multiverse of madness if going to connect to "What if", from what I saw, it looks insane.

Marcus Carter

There's going to be Dark Dr. Strange vs Dr. Strange in Dr. Strange The Multiverse of Madness, they showed in the previews.
