Hey guys!

What a fun movie to continue this holiday season! After this, we only have one more Christmas themed movie left! (I'm way too ahead on Patreon and behind on YouTube so only have space left for one more film). I will likely watch an X-Men movie next week and save the surprise holiday movie for 12/17 :) Just to push it a little closer to Christmas.

Until then, thanks so much for your support here on Patreon and ✨stay golden!✨

"Hip, hip hooray, for Christmas vacation!" Can't wait to watch tonight after work.

Guy-on-Couch

YES!!!!! all the Vacation movies are hysterical...

Joe Blankenship

Do Muppet Christmas Carol! Or It's a Wonderful Life.

Randee Carreno

Happy Friday, Natalie! 😊 I've been waiting for this one all week. LOL! This is my favorite of the "National Lampoons Vacation" movie series. I usually watch this one at least 3 times during the holiday season. Have a great day today! 😊 Stay Golden! 💛

dieselbeast

Yes Christmas movies are fun but alot of your subs/Patreons would like to see you finish your reactions to the xmen movies, regardless always enjoy your reactions 🙏

Love this movie, can't wait to rewatch it this weekend!

Darryl Low

Happy Festive Friday Nat. This movie was released 32 years and 2 days ago 😊 Another John Hughes screenplay under your belt.

YannickWega

Funny xD For me in Germany this movie is free on Amazon Prime

Erik Stevenson

There are a lot of good contenders, but this is my absolute favorite Christmas movie. Gets at least one re-watch every year!

Erik Stevenson

IDK if it's a hot take, but Muppet Christmas Carol is the best movie version of the Christmas Carol story IMO.

djKENTO

No Chevy Chase for me. Hope everyone enjoys it tho

Tony Sanson

It's not Christmas until this and Scrooged are watched. So the Holliday Season has officially begun.

Christopher Boscarino

to understand Clark Griswald, you really need to watch the first movie N.L. Vacation.. His cousin Eddie and his family debut there.

dieselbeast

This was on the rather boring side for me, I chuckled a couple times but I wouldn't consider this a Christmas classic, rather you react to a Christmas story or jingle all the way

Guy-on-Couch

"Shitters full" hahaha

Lee Gannon

I was watching along on DVD and I had to keep pausing my copy as it kept going out of sync as somehow the speed on the DVD is slightly faster. Brian Doyle Murray who played his boss is Bill Murray's brother. Russ and Audrey change actors every film.

Simon Bauer

Was notttt a fan of this one

Chief

"You couldn't hear a dump drunk driving through a nitroglycerin factory" One of my favorite movie quotes!

REDR58

funniest Christmas movie ever.

Mike Adams

The actress who played Aunt Bethany was the original voice of Betty Boop.

LJ Mickey

As a hockey fan I have to respect the blackhawks jerseys. :)

James Bartley

Top class traditional christmas film lovemwatching this film every year

Farstar

I liked all the Vacation movies, especially the vegas one.

Most of John Hughes' Films are set in Shermer, Illinois... It's not a real place.

ThinkClint

You haven't seen Its a Wonderful Life?! You would LOVE it!

ISeeTrees ofGreen

how funny would it be if the next christmas movie was die hard lmao

Matthew Periolat

“Worse? How can things get worse? We’re at the threshold of Hell!” Use that line EVERY time things go south when I overplan. Seriously, this is just fun for Christmas! It’s a bit silly, but you kind of know that going in. Do recommend Vacation and European Vacation as fun 80s flicks if you want to have fun. As for what’s next… if it doesn’t involve Nakatomi Plaza, I for one would be very surprised. Cue the Beethoven and Still Golden!

This_Jedi_crafts

I believe the actor who played the old uncle voiced Dr. Finkelstein in The Nightmare Before Christmas. Such a big cast of actors who worked for many years.

Chazzie3679

Of the various Christmas comedies I've watched over the years, this is my absolute favorite for one reason only: it's so completely insane!

Jason Dolan

The reality of your reaction is that you DON'T catch every joke the first time. It is more realistic to be sassy, especially watching comedies. Great reaction!

Tom Evans

Natalie don't worry so much! I synced up my HBO Max stream with your Amazon rental version just fine. The only time there's an issue is US vs EU versions, but Amazon vs HBO Max is all the same thing. The timestamp doesn't match but whatever it's easy enough to sync up with the blurred image of the movie. It's all good!

Essero Eson

So the next holiday film is in a "Totally different genre" It's Die Hard. I'm callin it now.

Andy Jordan

Fun fact: the actress who played Aunt Bethany, Mae Questel, was the long-time voice of Betty Boop and Olive Oyl. Glad you got such a big kick out of her. She's definitely a highlight of the film. My personal favorite Christmas movie other than It's a Wonderful Life.

Jayson Phillips

Office Christmas party, Miracle on 34th street, and Elf, the night before, and The santa clause are all awesome Christmas movies

Logan Kerlee

xD Feel free to watch whatever, wherever. If people need to find a movie online there's always someplace to watch whatever it is. I'm going to post a link to this movie in a comment to this - so if anybody can't find the movie, you'll have a place to watch this from. It won't be 1080p, at least I don't think it'll be 1080p? Whatever - if you want to watch it, it'll be there. xD

Logan Kerlee

Direct link to it, not positive if it'll work - https://www5.myflixer.ru/movie/national-lampoons-christmas-vacation-xx8z/kwvrjo4 If that doesn't work, find it on this page using the search bar - https://www3.myflixer.ru/home If you don't want to use it, you don't have to. :) Just giving an option.

Logan Kerlee

Just finished the movie.. wow! It was so much fun watching that with you Natalie! xD hahaha, I was cracking up so much during that one. :)

Logan Kerlee

100% That's totally true! xD I loved that it was her first time watching this, for that reason. :)

Logan Kerlee

Yup! Took me a second to sync it up but after I did, it worked fine. I even had a few problems with the place I was watching it from.. still got everything synced back up just fine in no time. :) Nat really should stress less, especially during this time of year. :)

It Hurt A Lot

Favorite moment was when Clark and Eddie were shopping together. Clark puts down a box of lightbulbs and Eddie immediately crushes it with the gigantic bag of Ol' Roy hahahaha

Ginge Tomassi

The Nice Guys would be a great movie to react to that is set during christmas but not actually about christmas.

Al Baughman

this was a great reation to a christmas classic!

Jomero

I get why so many people love this movie. I do. But for me, it's just too much cringe. It's like watching two hours of The Office's "Scott's Tots" episode.

Cripkie

I always felt like Christmas is more about celebrating the winter solstice than Christianity anyway and the winter solstice comes to everyone, of every persuasion. Its Mostly a Celtic tradition from way way back.

STFU FFS (Martín)

So, i dunno if anyone else caught it but the second assistant director was Frank Capra, III. I suppose that explains the clip from Its A Wonderful Life.

Cripkie

I'm a chef, eggnog is basically custard and wisky. Custard is basically eggs and milk simmered till thickened.

Cripkie

I had such a crush on Julia Luis Dreyfus growing up watching Seinfeld. This came out the same year Seinfeld had its debut. "chin scratch"

Cripkie

Black nails, very punk rock. suits your sass.

Alan Kobb

Chevy Chase was always famous as a physical comedian, doing pratfalls and the like. He was on Saturday Night Live during the years of President Ford, Once President Ford tripped while walking down the stairs from Air Force One (you can find that on YouTube), so Chevy Chase was chosen for all sorts of Ford parody skits that always included a fall or a triip, and since then Saturday Night Live has always had someone to play the sitting President, but Chase was the first.

Ortizmo2000

Watching the very first (besides being entertaining as AF) will answer a tiny bit of trivial stuff here. Like Cousin Eddie and the goofy glasses he and Clark were drinking egg nog out of.

John

Another great Christmas movie is Bad Santa. Also, if you haven't seen it yet, definitely check out The Hebrew Hammer.

JarHead0351

since you have now done a Vactation movie and liked it, you should then watch the OG Vacation Movie which started it all
