HAPPY MARVEL MONDAY!!

So excited to be starting this new series with you all. For this one, I'll be watching 2 episodes per week, but spacing them out and releasing them on Mondays and Tuesdays. This is because the episodes are longer than WandaVision episodes and it felt like a lot to combine them both into one video.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and as always, thanks so much for your support here on Patreon. Until the next one, ✨stay golden!✨

YAAAAY! happy marvel monday!!!

Darryl Low

Happy Marvel Monday Nat! Only watched the first episode of this series, so looking forward to watching the rest of it with you 💛

Looking forward to rewatching this again! Prob my fave of the Disney+ Series.

Aaron Lovik

This show is full of great bromance moments! You're gonna love it.

Tony Johnson

I wasn't sure if you were going to take a break between series and was expecting some alternate marvel monday fare today. This is a great show and I'm stoked to see your reaction!

Randee Carreno

Happy Marvel Monday, Natalie! 😊 I've been waiting for this one. So excited! Anthony Mackie & Sebastian Stan have great on-screen chemistry. Their real life friendship really shows throughout this series. Sam's friend Torres is one of my favorite characters. No spoilers, but this show will deal with a lot of real life topics. Episodes 5 & 6 will be the only episodes with end credit scenes. I'm so excited for your reactions as this season progresses. Have a great day! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Where can one get this without having to buy Disney+?

Calo Grsf

Hi and Happy Marvel Monday Nat! Great reaction as only you can do it haha, and I loved your face at the end with the new Captain's revelation 😆 I'm glad you continue the MCU, I'll just add a little comment about how the order, those who say you can watch Black Widow before the series, I don't really agree because of the post-credit scene of the movie, you do well to follow the release order! I'm so excited for the following contents 😄 I hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden! 💛

Ian Forbes

Nat, you don’t need to worry about post credit scenes on this until episodes 5 & 6. Excited to rewatch this and get your take on it all.

Myles Away

Glad you're going for all the series! Falcon and Winter Soldier isn't the best of them but I think its still a good watch.

Navjot Singh

Nat, did you recognize the main Russian guy Sam was fighting with on the plane? If you didn't, he was in the Winter Soldier movie during the fight on the ship who wanted Steve to fight him without his shield. His name is Batroc. And regarding the post-credit scenes, only episodes 5 and 6 have them.

Travis

Is he Russian? I thought he was French. It’s played by UFC hall of famed Georges St. Pierre who is French Canadian. I’m pretty sure he’s speaking French.

Of the three out there so far, I think this is my favorite. Exciting topics are addressed, interesting characters are created and I think the dynamics of the characters and their development are great.

Simon Bauer

why do these shows always get the physics wrong xD wingsuits don't track like that, missles can't turn on a dime like that. they miss and go off into the distance lol

Anonymous

Because drama and fun matter more than realism. And why can't they work that way in a universe with gods, aliens, people becoming subatomic and time travel?

john collins

I'm so excited for you to see this series! Some people didn't enjoy it as much as wandavision or Loki, but I think marvel did a perfect job of telling an important story of the character progression of sam and bucky through this series and it was way better than just doing another film about it because it gave them enough time to really put in every detail they wanted.

Tony Sanson

I'm excited for this and to rewatch it with you. After WandaVision it was nice to get "grounded" again, even though I'm itching to rewatch Loki. I really enjoyed this show even though a lot of people think it's pretty weak. There is a lot of character progression with old friends and a few surprises along the way.

Ilsuk Yang

Fun fact, even though WandaVision was 9 episodes and this show was 6 episodes, if you take out the intros and end credits, they have the same total runtime of around four-and-a-half hours (so a little longer than LOTR Return of the King extended edition without the end credits). I know they call these "shows," but they're more like a limited series or a long movie to me.

First time I saw this I thought, "Why does the new Captain America look like Carl Fredrickson???"

Kathryn Harvey

The Black Widow post credits was written to be released before TFATWS but honestly I think it worked out better in the order it was released in.

In case you haven't heard yet which ones have post credits scenes, I think it was episodes 5 and 6.

One of the weakest Marvel projects, but still watchable with you.

Information on Fair Use Fair use is a legal doctrine that promotes freedom of expression by permitting the unlicensed use of copyright-protected works in certain circumstances. Section 107 of the Copyright Act provides the statutory framework for determining whether something is a fair use and identifies certain types of uses—such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research—as examples of activities that may qualify as fair use.  Section 107 calls for consideration of the following four factors in evaluating a question of fair use: 1.  Purpose and character of the use, including whether the use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes:  Courts look at how the party claiming fair use is using the copyrighted work, and are more likely to find that nonprofit educational and noncommercial uses are fair.  This does not mean, however, that all nonprofit education and noncommercial uses are fair and all commercial uses are not fair; instead, courts will balance the purpose and character of the use against the other factors below.  Additionally, “transformative” uses are more likely to be considered fair.  Transformative uses are those that add something new, with a further purpose or different character, and do not substitute for the original use of the work. 2.  Nature of the copyrighted work:  This factor analyzes the degree to which the work that was used relates to copyright’s purpose of encouraging creative expression. Thus, using a more creative or imaginative work (such as a novel, movie, or song) is less likely to support a claim of a fair use than using a factual work (such as a technical article or news item). In addition, use of an unpublished work is less likely to be considered fair.  3.  Amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole:  Under this factor, courts look at both the quantity and quality of the copyrighted material that was used. If the use includes a large portion of the copyrighted work, fair use is less likely to be found; if the use employs only a small amount of copyrighted material, fair use is more likely. That said, some courts have found use of an entire work to be fair under certain circumstances. And in other contexts, using even a small amount of a copyrighted work was determined not to be fair because the selection was an important part—or the “heart”—of the work. 4.  Effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work:  Here, courts review whether, and to what extent, the unlicensed use harms the existing or future market for the copyright owner’s original work. In assessing this factor, courts consider whether the use is hurting the current market for the original work (for example, by displacing sales of the original) and/or whether the use could cause substantial harm if it were to become widespread. In addition to the above, other factors may also be considered by a court in weighing a fair use question, depending upon the circumstances. Courts evaluate fair use claims on a case-by-case basis, and the outcome of any given case depends on a fact-specific inquiry. This means that there is no formula to ensure that a predetermined percentage or amount of a work—or specific number of words, lines, pages, copies—may be used without permission.

The hand waving is so helpful in reassuring that I have the sync right. lol keep it up.

YodatheHobbit

Sometimes closure is really needed if a person's death doesn't make any sense to the bereaved. Congrats and at the same time WTF? to Don Cheadle for his Emmy nomination for his super short scene.

Dani

Just a funny fact. So Arabic is my mother tongue and the part at the beginning where Sam was apparently speaking Arabic, he wasn't. What he said was complete gibberish lol.

Misty Crom

The guy in the plane at the start who gave Sam problems was the guy Captain America fought on the ship in Winter Soldier. Also, Sam's wing-shield makes me think of Batfink - with his wings of steel! The bad-guys kidnapped the captain so there could be an action scene.

Brandon Scott

I’ve come to think of them as extended One Shots. It’s made the most sense to me to think of them that way.

Brandon Scott

This series has some of the best character acting from Stan that I’ve seen in the MCU. I was very impressed by his performance.

Daniel Vezina

Actually we don't know what that shield is made of .... Steve shields was made of 1 solid piece of metal and got destroy by Thanos. That one is from Steve who travel trough time, it's not same it got tiny holes.

WackySwacky

You'd think they would have had a vocal coach on set to help him through it.

Danishprince

You really need to find yourself a productive hobby.. You keep posting this for no reason whatsoever other than to show off your "impressive" knowledge.

The originals was vibranium, and I'm pretty sure that the new one is made of proto adamantium like in the comics, now that the x-men are back on marvel.

Texas Anla'Shok

This kind of illustrates the biggest problem I have with the post-Endgame MCU: it’s too much like the real world. They’re putting real-world issues into a world that is now in a very different place than we are. Think WWII was a world changing event? Well that’s nothing compared to having half the world’s population vanish and then suddenly reappear. That’s two HUGE shocks to every system and social construct on the planet in just five years. The address it a bit in this series, but I still think it would go way beyond what they show. It just seems to me that everything just goes back to what was I little to easily.

WackySwacky

The imaginations of the writers at Marvel do not extend past the hashtags currently trending on Twitter.

Jon Hoover

It's easy to forget, but Sam has been on the run with Cap since Civil War, and then blipped away for 5 years. He hasn't had a steady pay check since Ant Man.

Jon Hoover

I don't understand this. I loved FAWS! I think it was much better than Wanda. Wanda was trying to be art, FAWS was trying to tell a story and be entertaining. Just my opinion.

Lucifer Moon

I was really surprised that you seem to understand the concepts of Selfish Amends vs Selfless Amends ( most people do not ). It is funny most people do not know the difference between Selfish Honesty / Toxic Honesty and Selfness Honesty. Anyways great reaction like always.

Nat, you said about that wingsuit that flew into the helicopter door in midair, that you didn't know anybody who can do that. Well me neither. But! Believe it or not those crazy thrill seekers of Red Bull have done it with a small airplane! https://youtu.be/YL9sNrOlK-I And speaking of life imitating art, except the other way around. Marvel writers may have been inspired by this actual armored-car robbery. Marvel: Flash mob in masks getaway. Real world thief: Construction workers, Craigslist ad. getaway. https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/6-year-sentence-in-robbery-with-getaway-inner-tube/

Bucky is not straight. The "Tiger Photos" is a trend when it comes to gay dating apps. If they chose to be that specific, it's probably for a reason.

Anonymous

I don't think it was said in another comment but the scene with the therapist with all the uncomfortable camera angles the reason was the director wanted the watcher to feel as Bucky did, claustrophobic and uncomfortable
