Here we go. The one everyone's been waiting for. Thanks Nat 💛

RebRox65

So glad Natalie, it’s been hard not talking about it on here because of spoilers. But with what’s happening with LUCUS film right now, we could see a whole new Mando playing the part 😌

Danishprince

Yes! I've been waiting so much for this one after E7 as I'm watching it alongside you ! Thanks for another fantastic season of reactions - I'm so excited to see which show will end up being the next :D

Anonymous

Awesome! I can’t wait to watch ‘with you’ after work tonight!

Anonymous

Ahhh, so excited to watch your reaction!

Calo Grsf

Thank you so much Nat! I hope you're fine! I was looking forward to this one haha Unfortunately this is the last one 😭 but I can't wait for what happens next 😄 Stay Golden and have a nice day!

Jedi Mandalore (Dylan)

Once I saw the X-Wing i was like "that has got to be Red 5" not what I expected thought A New Republic fleet was going to jump in to rescue the Mando and the gang with the final shot being Star Destroyers umping in led by Thrawn who would've open fire at the Republic fleet forcing them to retreat. This ending was also amazing kinda wish we saw a little teaser of Thrawn.

Niklas

Was very excited to see this! :D To answer some questions - Jango Fett died working for Count Dooku, not Jabba. The Book of Boba Fett is its own show, we will still get Mandalorian Season 3.

JediLounger

Can someone confirm that she did watch to the very end? lol. I will watch this as soon as I am able.

Andy Crawley

I’m just about to watch this through now, but something tells me I already know you’ll be bawling your eyes out at the end, I know I did when I watched it, for so many reasons!

swoop_13-37

Thank God someone shot a yt video on it.... I was tired of explaining it.... Bo was gifted the dark saber once in rebels. Tv show. She lost it in combat. Now she has to obtain it from combat. Sadly for the mando universe. It's falling apart. Gina has been fired. And cancelled from hollywood. John is trying to now stop production of Gina's show. Pedro has apparently quit to work on the last of us tv show, with more face time, even tho he knew what he signed on for. First real piece of star wars we've got from disney. And the empire, "disney", is trying to kill it.

swoop_13-37

Boba's dad, jango, died working for the empire, pre empire.

swoop_13-37

If this story continues. Mando will become the ruler of "new" mandalor, because mandalorthe planet was properly destroyed. He holds the saber from combat. The ruler of mandalor has a rule. You are not allowed to show your face. "This is the way" rule. So din "mando" is already primed to take the throne.

London Celt

I’ve been looking forward to this

Adam Barry

Haha, once again calling Moff Gideon "Moff". :P

Danishprince

Finished the reaction and what a season finale! - Do you plan on watching The Book of Boba Fett spin-off as well when it arrives in December or will that be too much Star Wars? :D

Darryl Low

This is the third time I've watched this episode, and watching you get caught up in it Nat, was like like watching for the first time again. Like I said before, you were a Star Wars script writer in a previous life 😀 Mark Hamill was on set doing those final scenes, and through the technical wizardry of today, they de-aged him and altered his voice. Knew you would love the R2 moment. Great stuff Nat

Ian

That was fantastic Nat your excitement is infectious makes me happy seeing you enjoying this series so much so thankyou for a season of truly wonderful reactions and dubstep droids, screamy planes and power rangers are genius your nicknames for things crack me up 🤣 oh and grogu is a marketing dream so I'm sure it's not the last we've seen of him

Randee Carreno

I clicked the link so fast. LOL! I've been wanting for this. 😊 Fun Fact: Mark Hamill was on set for that last scene. And they used CGI on a stunt double. "The Book of Boba Fett" will be on Disney+ at the end of this year. And next year we'll get season 3 of "The Mandalorian". My predictions for season 3: Since Mando is the new ruler of Mandalor, there will probably be conflict with him and Bo Katan. Hopefully they will end up joining forces to take the Mandalorian world together. And I since Grogu has already had some Jedi training, I have a feeling that we'll see him reunited with Mando at some point during the season after he finishes his training with Luke. Until the next video, "This Is The Way" & Stay Golden! 💛

Great reaction as always. I don't think Disney will incorporate you nickname for the Dark Troopers. The "Dubstep Troopers" doesn't sound as menacing :). Now that you don't have to worry about spoilers you can catch-up on the Mandalorian drama that has occurred off camera. Looking forward to your next post, and your next series.

This_Jedi_crafts

Enjoyed a great cry (once again) watching Nat view this. Also laughs but, like Nat - also really confused as to what Season 3 of The Mandalorian will bring us. Trusting the story telling of Dave Filoni and the artistic team!

This_Jedi_crafts

If you ever have time (on your own) to watch the Clone Wars and Rebels, it helps fill in some gaps.

Andy Crawley

He hasn’t quit, he’s just booked another show as well as this one. Actors can schedule multiple jobs. The Last Of Us probably won’t even start filming until later this year. Plus with Season 3 of Mando seemingly going to be about taking Mandalore back, he’ll have plenty more face time now he’s not so fussed about keeping his helmet on!

Andy Crawley

I’m surprised that in all the reaction videos, reviews and articles I’ve seen about the finale episode, I seem to be the only one to have noticed that within the CGI Luke face there is a subtle hint of Sebastian Stan’s face too. I know a hell of a lot of people were shipping him to play Luke due to the (more than) uncanny resemblance he has to a “Return Of The Jedi” period Mark Hamill. I think ultimately he will play Luke when we see them again, but they probably didn’t want to use him straight off, to get people used to the transition, and probably couldn’t anyway due to him filming Falcon & Winter Soldier at the time. This way they don’t have to only use the character sparingly so as to not have to spend too much on the CGI budget.

Joe Blankenship

Ha, I called them the dubstep droids too. And I knew you’d lose it when Mando showed Grogu his face. I teared up again seeing it. I’m gonna miss that cute little guy. I have no idea what they’re gonna do for season 3. It’s a pity that we won’t see Cara again. Gina Carano forgot that you can’t go on Twitter talking crazy and also work for Disney.

Anonymous

This has probably already been said but I just wanted to clarify because there seems to be some confusion as to who you think Boba Fett is. So Boba Fetts father, Jango, died Attack of the Clones at the very start of the Clone Wars. Boba was actually the one who brought Han Solo (frozen in carbonite) to Jabba the Hutt in the original trilogy. Boba ended up working for Jabba up until Luke, Leia, Chewbacca and Lando attempted to sneak Han out. But as you probably remember, they got caught and were sent to the Sarlacc Pit to be executed. Boba Fett was there during all that and accidently fell into the pit.

Anonymous

I just wanted to clear up any confusion because it seemed especially during the end credits scene you said that it was Boba's father that died while working for Jabba.

Thomas Yanez

Loved the reaction. Also, in case somebody hasn't mentioned it yet, "Moff" isn't his name, it is a title. Like the character Grand Moff Tarkin in the original trilogy.

Matthew Periolat

I can only quote the Original Star Wars: “You have taken your first step into a larger world.” Save for the Sequel Trilogy, you are current. That’s the good news. Here’s the bad: The Book of Boba Fett is one of THREE spin offs of The Mandalorian. Add Rangers of the New Republic and Ashoka to that list. All three, plus season three of Mandalorian will cross over in one big event at the end of the year. But plenty of time yet to let that thought simmer. I regret the big surprise was spoiled for me. WAY too many reaction videos posted on YouTube that basically broadcast it. But still worth it for me to smile and see your reaction. Yes, better than Rogue One, but man, that uncanny valley... but we’re getting there. I agree with you, I want Grogu to stay with Daddy, but it was best for him and... parents always make the tough choices for the good of their kids. I hope he’ll be back someday. As always, grateful for the experience and for Screaming Planes, Power Ranger Crew, Dub Step Troopers and all points in between. Staying Golden.

Alan Kobb

Great reaction, Natalie! It was a very exciting episode, and I was as thrilled by it as you were. I also had tried to keep myself away from spoilers, so watching it for the first time with you, so worth it! They had mentioned sometime in season 1 that this was a few years from the end of the rebellion, so I figured that Luke was a possibility. Pretty cool, though. Same tech that brought a young Princess Leah back in Rogue One.

Texas Anla'Shok

My money’s on season 3 being about retaking Mandalore, Mando and Bo Katan figuring out the Dark Sabre issue and, given Ahsoka’s mission, probably Grand Admiral Thrawn as well. I am really hoping we see the grand admiral. Who do y’all think would play him? Oh, and Luke mowing through then Dark Troopers reminded me of a scene in Clone Wars where some battle droids are about to face Anakin and Obi-Wan. One's al ready to fight but the other's like, There's no point, we're screwed."

Garrick Smalley

Love this. You are way more invested in the emotional connection between Grogu and Mando thank I am. I absolutely love the nicknames: Screaming Planes, Power Ranger Crew, Dub Step Troopers. I have never quite understood why the storm troopers are such bad shots and can't fight their way out of a paper bag yet the empire ruled the galaxy. I have got to say having you say "I don't want anybody to die" when the good guys were mowing down the storm troopers was funny as hell. When Luke was destroying all the #DubstepTroopers I had flash backs to Vader killing all the rebels at the end of Rouge one. Stay Golden

Warren Van Wyck

I’m so glad you finished! Watching your videos is always the highlight of my day. You make being alone so much less lonely. 🙂 Stay Golden!

Chaz Mannington

“Oh no, is this dub step?” That phrase has been repeated a lot in many situations

Ulrich Unterbrunner

That sums up my reaction when first watching it. Except the association of the Dark Troopers with dubstep (probably because I dealt with Dark Troopers in video games before), nevertheless the score to them was menacing. Kudos to the sound department. But I will spoiler this. You probably won't see Cara Dune again after Disneys final fallout with Carano (maybe the will recast the role, don't know). They weren't quite happy about her homophobic tweets earlier but accepted her apologies after she had an educational talk with Pascal. But spreading conspiracy theories about the general election and connecting mask mandates with the mistreatment of Jews in the Third Reich was apparently the final straw and she was dropped by Disney as well as her agency. And please no discussion about free speech. That is not being touched by being fired by a private company. I for my part liked the character very much and will always be grateful to Carano for bringing it to life. But for the rest I go with the decision of Disney.

Tiger Chu

Dub step droids had no chance against THE jedi

Thomas Malley

it's weird because Obi Wan specifically refers to their sharpshooter skills in A New Hope.

Omni Jacala

Great reaction as always! Something I took note of in your reaction was that you sort of misread the scene with Cara Dune and the pilot. He wasn't saying that people cheered when Alderaan was destroyed. He was pointing out that millions of people died on both Death Stars when they were destroyed, and that the galaxy cheered. From his perspective, the rebels were the terrorists.

Anonymous

Such a great season finale. They're doing a number of spinoffs from this series. Besides Boba Fett, we're getting an Ahsoka Tano show, and a Rangers of The New Republic series set during this timeframe as well.

Anonymous

I'm very torn. They have given Gina Cirano a very bad break. Especially compared to what other series "stars" have posted.

Baron

Sorry to say you are alarmingly wrong. First your comments have nothing to do with Nat's awesome reaction you only talk about your self and what you did. Second you got the entire story wrong which makes me think you read someone else commenting on it and then horribly misrepresented the story here. She made a "transphobic" "according to some" which was a tweet about gender pronouns. she didn't spread any conspiracy theories she wrote a tweet saying we need to investigate the election results. you combined two different tweets to make a whole new lie, she shared a tweet about masks and blindfolds and she made a separate tweet about how we should not attack our neighbors for having different views, and she compared it to how the Nazi party made the people turn against each other. Its like that game telephone you miss represented the facts you got from someone else misrepresenting the facts. freedom of speech, I guess you get to say what ever you want and then shut down the discussion so no we are all going to talk about freedom of speech, because no one is going to fire you and take away your ability to get more work just because you wrote this incredibly stupid and inaccurate post. which is something you seem to think should happen to other people you disagree with!

Anonymous

I'm glad... and yet so sad... that we've got to the best episode ever already. Will be interesting what the Mando gets up to next, and whether he'll ever get to meet up with little Grogu again.

Kathy Ice

Natalie, you mentioned that your voice is often tired after recording, which made me wonder: do you warm up your voice before you film? 'Cause if not, you probably should. We want lots of reactions from you, and that means taking care of that golden voice!

Yani Dodge

I usually try to stay out of high conflict topics, but I would like to offer my perspective on this. Since it’s good to go to the source of things, this is the text of the post that Gina reposted. “Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors...even by children. :( "Because history is edited, most people today don't realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?"” (Underneath was a black and white picture of a woman being chased by two boys) This article runs down several other controversial posts that she has made, (I did read all of it and found it to not have too much accompanying commentary around it, had some posts that I hadn’t heard about before) Some I agree with, others I don’t. https://nypost.com/2021/02/11/see-gina-caranos-tweets-and-posts-that-got-her-fired/ My thought right now is that I am very disappointed at what Disney and LucasFilms did. While her post can absolutely rub people the wrong way, I don’t see this as her saying that conservatives are being treated like how the Jews in WWII, but the danger of dehumanizing people which can lead to terrible things. I liked Cara Dune and the more I find out about Gina, the more I like and respect her. Her Instagram has things that I both agree and disagree with, but most of what she’s posted seem to come from a person who enjoys her life and cares/encourages others. Another point that has frustrated me, is that I have heard a report that LucasFilms had not even been in contact with her since last summer/fall and no one contacted her to let her know she’d been let go. According to the report, she heard about it through social media. I totally understand that Disney is a private company and therefore able to fire who ever they’d like. That is their right. On the other hand, they are also a national corporation that has the power and ability to lead by example in things like diversity, tolerance, and discussion. That fact that other LucasFilms employees have shared comparisons of modern-day events/groups to WWII, along with other posts relating to personal politics, seems to show hypocrisy on their part. (Doing my best to be careful with my words here XD I genuinely don’t want a fight, just to have a conversation and hope to hear others’ views on this)

Ulrich Unterbrunner

Point taken. Doesn't change anything about freedom of private companies firing you because they do not want to be associated with your points of view. Same freedom anyone has to quit his job, because he does not share the view of the employing company and doesn't want to be associated with it. It does not change anything about uttering opinions. And nothing about others reacting to it. Also I didn't "do" anything. I shared my opinion and a request. Nothing more.

Ulrich Unterbrunner

This is a very fair point of view and it shows that much is depending on point of view. However I have to add, that "leading by example" also applies to celebrities, not only corporations - and to them even more since they are a single person and not an entity of a multitude of people voiced by a social media guy. Also we don't know if all those LucasFilm employees are still LucasFilm employees. But I never said any of those corporations are sacrosanct, just that I agree with their decision in this single case.

I loved your reaction, Natalie - a lot like me, I think - I can see where the show might go, and while it’s probably a relief not to have to always find a babysitter (OR LEAVE THE BABY ALONE), and to pretty much know he’s safe, I thought this show was about Grogu and Mando - and their tiny, created family. How can even ruling Mandalore compare? As for the other disappointment - well, it shows how old I am, but about the time I discovered Star Wars (in the theater), I also discovered The Cleveland Browns. (Football family, from Ohio.). They were bedrock NFL, and even though they weren’t very good in the mid-1990’s, the city was building them a new stadium, people still went to their games and bought their merchandise. And then, Baltimore offered the man who owned the team cash to move it to Baltimore. Just like that. I remember the feeling - he obviously had the right to do it. It was “his” team. But it wasn’t about football. This person took OUR team away. Strangely, I feel the same way now. This company took away a character I was invested in. Not because of the story. I’ll never get to see the story that was going to be told. I find their professed reasons as insufficient as Art Modell’s. They had the right - but they also have my bitter disappointment.

Matt Mullett

Not sure if someone else pointed this out, but the reason I heard the dude mandalorian wasn't present because the actor had a family emergency.

Anonymous

Yani's post was a fair accounting, don't know about the article linked. Ulrich what you did was share your very obviously biased opinion and added incorrect facts. No one, anywhere, is arguing that Disney doesn't have the legal right to fire whoever they want. However, we do in fact know that Pedro Pascal still works for Disney after he made two tweets that were more offensive to a larger group of people and one was a complete and utter lie, claiming that a picture taken of Hispanic looking children climbing on a fence grate was in the United States in 2018 when the picture was from 2010, not in the USA or even Mexico and were not Hispanic children, and they were not locked in a cage at all. Disney's High Republic host posted some racist comments against white women and they came to her defense. You are more than welcome to your opinion, but you seem very ill informed and predisposed to parrot everything the media claims. The media labeled what she said anti-Semitic and offensive in the title of every article I've seen with the deliberate purpose to frame a narrative that is false. She literally got a job the next day with one of the most famous Orthodox Jews in the country.

Yani Dodge

@Ulrich A very good point, and I agree that leading by example is very important for celebrities. They each have a huge audience and the chance to do a lot of good in the world. In my perspective, Gina's response has been very gracious, and I appreciated how she defended Pedro's character as her friend and fellow human even though many, myself included, have compared their tweets. Which LucasFilm employees do you mean? I was thinking mostly of Pedro and I think another woman who’s involved with the High Republic, I can’t remember her name, when I was talking about employees. I don’t think I said you did, but thank you for clarifying. I respect your right to agree with them even if I don't agree with them. :) Thanks for taking the time to read and respond to my thoughts too

Yani Dodge

@Jaster83 I'm glad you think I gave a fair account, I'm doing my best :) I just realized you're talking about the two employees I was thinking of! I do enjoy the irony that she was hired by Ben Shapiro after all of this, and I really liked hearing her on her interview with him.
