I will now only ever refer to TIE fighters as (the screamy planes) :)

Man, the next 4 episodes can't get here fast enough. I laughed at this, btw: Natalie: I'm sure that even Star Wars peeps can't remember all these weird names. Plot: ...but I doubt we'll find a higher M count. Natalie: MIDI-CHLORIANS! OMG he's talking about MIDI-CHLORIANS!

JediLounger

If you think this is good lol. Guh it’s like slow motion torture waiting for the second half of the season. On a side note, make sure you watch ALL of the final episode, including credits.

This episode was directed by Greef Karga himself, Carl Weathers. This one was also famous for "Jeans Guy" When it was first broadcast, you could see a crew member, partially and briefly in the background, in t-shirt and jeans. He has since been digitally removed by Disney. Lots of good action in this one, and you're right Nat, having a team of familiar and likeable characters put in peril, always ups the stakes and is a lot more engaging. Cara was given a Republic medal at the end. Great, fun reaction Nat. Thanks.

Randee Carreno

Carl Weathers did a fantastic job directing this episode. Ahsoka Tano is the Jedi that Mando and Baby Yoda are searching for. 😊 You were spot on when the "m count" was mentioned. At the end Moff Gideon is shown with the Dark Troopers that are being created. You were wondering what the New Republic officer gave to Cara. It was a New Republic badge. I'm now thinking of the Mandalorians from the previous episode as the Power Rangers, and the TIE fighters as screaming planes. I love it! LOL! SO HYPED for your reactions for these last four episodes. They can't come fast enough. And just letting you know right now, when you get to the last episode(episode 8) be sure to watch all of the credits. Until the next video, This Is The Way & Stay Golden! 💛

Well, the good news is I’m kind of in the dark with you here. I know bits and pieces on where we have been. But where we are going? *shrugs* Screamy planes... that sound is iconic for Star Wars fans, so good on you for picking it out. I couldn’t pick Blue out of a line-up yet. We may have seen him before, but not that I know of. I recognized the New Republic crest in what he left Cara, but what is it? Dunno. Yet. The black armor we saw at the end reminded me of the Dark Troopers we saw in Rogue One. Know they were special, but given we haven’t seen them since, rare. If they are part of experimentation on the Force to make them special, would explain why. That’s my report for the moment. Eventually of course Mandalorian will lead into the sequel trilogy, but that’s a good excuse to keep kicking that can down the road and focus on other projects. Speaking of, I know it’s on the list but like to plead a case for Once Upon a Time. Maybe see familiar faces there too, I dunno. Until next time!

No spoilers but in the next Episode a fan favorite character from the animated series Clone Wars and Rebels will make an appearance. Just fyi because I am certain you will be confused.

It Hurt A Lot

Watching a normal well adjusted person struggle with the names is just a cold reminder of how much useless Star Wars information I have. (sad beep noises)

Matt Mullett

Horatio Sanz (SNL) plays Mythrol, the blue dude.

The ultimate geek moment for me: Line camp out for Episode 1 and we tried watching Star Wars (the original) projected on a screen. Got the image working but no sound for a bit. While they were fussing trying to fix the sound, like any good fan, I softly started filling in the lines. After hearing a few giggles of people around me, I did it a bit louder. All well and good until we got to the Jawa attack on R2. When I started doing Jawa sound in perfect synch, everyone cheered. They actually BOOED when the sound was fixed a minute later! “Turn it back off, he’s terrific!” Well, I’M proud!

Actually Matthew, the season finale decanonises the Sequel Trilogy. I won't mention how here because of spoilers, but trust me it does.

Since you asked, Ashoka Tano is a character appearing alongside Anakin and Obi Wan in the 7 season animated series The Clone Wars. She was Anakins Padawan. The Clone Wars also introduced us to the Non-Cultist Mandalorians and The Dark Saber, that lightsaber Moff Gideon cut himself out of the fighter wreckage in the last moments of Mandalorian S1. Still hoping you'll react to the youtube video "SC 38 Reimagined" soon. :)

As for Cara Dune losing everyone, not all Alderaanians lost everyone, enough were off planet that in the old canon they began to settle another planet renamed 'New Alderaan'. Still, she's definitely not the only one who lost everyone, either. The thing she was given at the end was the New Republic equivalent of a Sheriff's badge. They were offering her the chance to bump up from local marshall to regonized NR Marshall for an Outer Rim planet. That's about the only way the NR can recruit enough help to deal with the vast Outer Rim, is to recruit the existing local governments whenever it's possible and they follow the rules (or mostly, anyway). That, the pair of X-Wing pilots also serving as all-purpose law enforcement, the fact that they are the same ones that chased then helped Din in episode 2, all point to me thinking the the "Rangers of the New Republic" is going to follow a model similar to the old time Texas Rangers, roving elite law enforcers on the frontier who mostly work alone or in pairs. Their old motto was, "One riot, one Ranger." Can't wait to see what they do with it.

Sry I'm late work's been crazy. I loved the reaction, can't wait to see what you think of the rest of the season. If you like character development, great story telling, and relationships; you really should do yourself a favor and check out The Expanse. All five seasons have a rotten tomatoes rating in the 90% isl by both critics and users. And for good reason. Some critics call it game of thrones in space

Maybe you could run a small timestamp at the bottom of the video for these? It’s hard to find my place if I can’t finish the whole video at once, especially when your movie is blurred. (not necessarily a problem for a short episode like Mando, but any time I try to watch your movie reactions)

Gabriel

Not sure where to post this, but how about a Scott Pilgrim vs The World reaction?

Darryl Low

That is on Nat's list of movies to watch, so it may be shortlisted for a reaction at some point.

Grigsy

Upload episode 5 soon :) It's my favourite episode of the series except you know... NO SPOILERS.

It would have been all the better after watching episode IV.

For you next series to watch, I would highly recommend a BBC series call HIS DARK MATERIALS. I really do believe that you would really love this tv show it’s something totally different to what you’ve reacted to so far, it’s a fantasy show with talking animals and drama and losses and has to feel or Narnia about it. Lots of money was spent on this production. I feel this has Natalie Gold stamp.
