Hey y'all!

So I already know what I plan to watch next week, but can you help me get started for this Christmas season?🎅🎄🎁 Let me know which of these you'd like a reaction to the most!

Keep in mind, all of these movies I have either seen parts of or vaguely know the story. I couldn't really think of many classic Christmas films that I've seen nothing of.

I'll definitely be doing a couple more Christmas polls so don't worry if you don't see your favorite movie on here! Feel free to make suggestions in the comments below of course.

I'm surprised night mare before Christmas got so many votes cause I've always watched that more around halloween. Also I'm assuming you've seen Santa Claus since that should have been a clear option. Lol

Each of the Harry Potter films have “Christmas Season” scenes with that chilly/school term/autumn/festive vibe with shenanigans and melancholy woven throughout

It Hurt A Lot

Christmas Vacation will always be my favorite. Yule crack up

Luis Torrefranca

It’s a short one, but “A Wish For Wings That Work”

Luis Torrefranca

Also, Emmett Otter’s Jug Band Christmas.

Nicholas Hentges

Batman Returns is a great Christmas movie and it is not a typical one. Die Hard and Gremlins are great too

Anonymous

Scrooged. You gotta watch Scrooged.

Robyn

Don't laugh, but... A Muppet Christmas Carol? (Oh, someone already suggested it! I feel better :) )

Anonymous

Die Hard... It's a Christmas movie... Ask any fan ;P

Troy B.

I'm betting you haven't seen the 1985 movie One Magic Christmas, starring a young Mary Steenburgen, and Harry Dean Stanton. It's on Disney Plus and is rated G, but I promised you'll be a little bit traumatized by it. But in a festive way! (I'm not trolling either, I honestly think it would make for a good react video. Though I don't know how many people have seen it enough to agree. But we all have Disney Plus right now, right? Thanks to Mandalorian Season two?) https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/one-magic-christmas/7Vke521o1o4B

Mister Lou

what about Seth Rogen's Christmas movie? The Night Before or Office Christmas Party's another good one!

Anonymous

Goodfellas has a Christmas scene in it. 🤷‍♂️

G. T. Blackwell

Ignore the Home Alone votes. They know not of what they speak.

Anonymous

My favorite classic Christmas movie is the 1954 White Christmas with Bing Crosby. I don't know if you have seen it, but. it's always worth a watch.

Anonymous

The Ref is a classic

Niklas

Home Alone is such a fun movie.

I would much rather watch this than any movie listed in the poll

David Martin

The Santa Clause, Jingle all the way, Home Alone 2

Hayden Smith

Die Hard for sure. Best Christmas movie there is.

Anonymous

While Die Hard is my favourite Christmas movie, one that I really want to recommend to you is the all-time classic, Santa Claus The Movie. Also, Ernest Saves Christmas.

Anonymous

Die Hard Ho Ho Ho

Thomas Yanez

I keep checking the list for "Die Hard" but I don't see it. Which number is it?

Anonymous

Die Hard

Anonymous

Die Hard, Scrooged and Christmas Vacation are the ones I try to catch every year. I believe all of them are good reaction movies. Surprised that as a serious fan of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Marvel and Firefly that this is the thread I've thrown down the most likes in the comment section

Thomas Malley

You haven’t seen Train Planes and Automobiles and that’s definitely a holiday movie albeit thanksgiving.

Thomas Malley

Shout out to the Seth rogen comedy The Night Before

BJ Stephens

So, Nightmare before Christmas got my vote, as I've never been a huge fan of the other films on the list. Now I don't know if you're actually taking suggestions for Christmas movies to watch, but on the off chance you might I recommend the hilarious Elf, White Christmas (it's an older film, but it always gives me that warm, content holiday feeling, and would love to see what you think of it), and my favorite Christmas movie of all National Lampoons Christmas Vacation!

Ian Forbes

If there's time, and you haven't seen it already, I'd recommend Scrooged. Always a good time to enjoy Bill Murray during the holidays. :)

SuicuneSol

Ooh, I must recommend Nightmare Before Christmas first because it's kinda also a Halloween movie, and it's a nice movie to transition from Halloween to the Holidays. But wait, you've never seen Home Alone (or Home Alone 2)? Yikes.

Anonymous

Please watch Die Hard too!!! :) Definitely a Christmas movie

Andy Jordan

If I remember right, you’ve seen White Christmas and It’s a Wonderful Life, but if you haven’t seen National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, it is a must-see classic. The Muppets’ Christmas Carol is also very good, and a surprisingly faithful adaptation of the Dickens novel, but also funny and charming. I might also recommend Home for the Holidays, an underrated Christmas movie, and directed by Jodie Foster. Might I also recommend Nat-ivity as a potential name for your holiday movie series? Cheers, Nat!

darby72

You could combine your Natmare series and your Twas The Nat Before Christmas (did anyone else come up with that?) and do Black Christmas, which is a Christmas slasher movie. There are even three versions of it, the original from the 70's, one from last decade, and one from last year. And the original was directed by the guy who wrote and directed A Christmas Story, Bob Clark.

Anonymous

A favorite in my house is Trapped in Paradise. A new movie we really loved last year was Klaus. The new Netflix show Lily & Dash was also pretty good. Might be fun to mix in episode reactions in between the movies. Rare Exports is great if you want a darker film.

Anonymous

Die Hard isn't on the list?!?!?

Red Claw

I only watch Hogfather consistently around Christmas. The others don't interest me that much. Although I do like Santa Clause, A Muppets Christmas Carol, Santa Sleighs and Gremlins 2.

Anonymous

Silent Night Deadly Night

Proto Mundi

Of course die hard is the best christmas movie. But I can also reccomend Klaus from Netflix

The Golgothan

Gotta watch "A Christmas Story" and "29th Street" Now that I think about it, "29th Street" probably isn't a good choice for a react because the only way to watch it is A) on the original VHS or b) a piss poor quality bootleg. That said, it is still one of the best Christmas movies of all time.

Anonymous

Eloise at Christmastime. But then... you should watch Eloise at the Plaza first. Jingle All the Way. The Santa Clause... OH! And Rise of the Guardians.

Anonymous

It ain't Christmas until Hans Gruber … but that would be spoilering. ^^

Anonymous

Die Hard is the ultimate Christmas movie. Hopefully I'll see it on the next poll!

Anonymous

Die Hard is missing XD

Cripkie

ha that reminded me of my big brother. Your comment, not the movie.

Loneclaw

Gremlins is also a good Christmas movie. UwU

Gath Bard

Suggestions for the month: - The Muppet Christmas Carol - Scrooged - It's a wonderful life - Plains trains and automobiles - Trading Places also for a really old, black and white Christmas movie: The shop around the corner (it was remade as the mediocre "you've got mail")

Darryl Low

Now we have a Christmas poll, ho ho ho. Before you make fists with your toes, Nat has seen Die Hard and it's one of her favourites. She says she may watch it at some point though. I'm choosing Home Alone to keep the John Williams vibe going :)

Dave M.

I don’t see Die Hard on this list. 🙂😉😂

Dave M.

I love that I’m not the only one who is recommending DIE HARD.

Anonymous

those movies are of mixed genre, so Die Hard is a good thing to add, but if you want more of a drama, try, "The Family Man." Its got some elements of "A Christmas Carol" ... but its not just a re-write.

Anonymous

I always like It's A Wonderful Life around Christmas time for its feel-good factor. I guess we all need something to feel good about this year

PickettsChargingPort

Wow. Figured a Christmas story would have more votes.

Andy Crawley

Definitely Nightmare Before Christmas, it’s a perfect crossover from Halloween into the festive season!

Justin S.

Die Hard is a popular suggestion but I think it was said that Natalie has already seen it before so would not be a "true" reaction. Die Hard 2 is also set during Christmas time. Here are my Christmas suggestions: Gremlins (1984) Lethal Weapon (1987) Scrooged (1988) Christmas Vacation (1989) Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) Batman Returns (1992)- Must see Batman 89 beforehand but this has definitely qualifies based on the opening alone and Michelle Pfeiffer steals every scene she is in. The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996)- One of the most underrated action pictures during the 90s that is set during Christmas time and has a decent amount of good humor. Samuel L. Jackson (who plays Nick Fury in the MCU) has said it was one of his favorite roles. Jingle All the Way (1996)- A lighthearted Christmas comedy starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Reindeer Games (2000)- A forgotten action picture with Ben Affleck and Charlize Theron that takes place during Christmas time. It was not well received but I thought it was entertaining. A Bad Moms Christmas (2017)- Should definitely watch/react to Bad Moms beforehand but this is a fun raunchy comedy with Christmas as the main theme. I think it would be enjoyed.

Matthew Periolat

Of these four, I lean A Christmas Story. NBC is great, no doubt, I just prefer it closer to Boo! than Ho Ho Ho. But would make a great watch. Never seen all of Polar Express, but know the book it’s based on very well. Be interested to see how the movie plays without feeling it’s padding the story. Home Alone... I hate this movie, aside from the third act. I really do. The family is so ridiculously mentally abusive, it’s disgusting. And I have a bias, coming from an abusive background. I’m sorry, I don’t get the joke and anytime I have to watch, I wonder why the mother is not secretly plotting creative ways to murder the uncle. Based on what Kevin comes up with to guard the house, I’d pay to see that movie! Christmas Story, please?

Anonymous

The Ref!! Best Christmas movie ever made.

CiviliNation

Die Hard is the best xmas movie

Ken

Most of Shane Black's movies are Christmas movies...in the Die Hard sense...and I recommend them all. The Last Boy Scout, Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, the Long Kiss Goodnight, all set around Christmastime

Christian Rennie

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, too!

Ken

The Apartment (1960) is a classic romantic comedy drama set around Christmas.

I'm getting on in years and find that I don't really have the same enthusiasm for X-mas movies that I once did. I think it's because I've seen them so many times that I just don't get excited by them anymore. I understand that doing more popular shows gets more views and subscribers, and I can't fault you for that, this being a small part of the business of show and all. What I would love to see is some attention to some fantastic but maybe less celebrated X-mas specials. Some that I love off the top of my head would be "A Wish for Wings that Work" by Berkeley Breathed which has Opus and Bill the Cat of Bloom County Fame, "Emmet Otter's Jug-band Christmas" from Jim Henson's company, or even "The Star Wars Holiday Special" which is pretty much terrible in every way, but still fun to enjoy it's undeniable badness. I'll still watch whatever you react to, but maybe give one or all of these a chance. Keep building your channels Natalie! you've been doing great so far and it's been a real treat for us!

Anonymous

Also here to yell Die Hard into the abyss

Alan Kobb

I'm with Chon. It's just not Christmas unless you spend a bit of time at Nakatomi Plaza!

Justin S.

Yes, definitely recommended and I mentioned a couple of these movies in my post and The Last Boy Scout is probably the best Bruce Willis action picture outside of the Die Hard series. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was good but the weakest of the bunch here because it wasn't that memorable in my opinion.

Anonymous

Will also chime in with the many that have already posted - Die Hard is the Christmas movie you should watch. (And then at the end maybe weigh in on whether you think it should be considered a Christmas movie....)

Anonymous

Scrooged (Bill Murray) National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (Chevy Chase) Elf (Will Farrell) Four Christmases (Vince Vaughn & Reese Witherspoon) Home For The Holidays (can't remember if Xmas or Thanksgiving) - Holly Hunter, Robert Downey Jr Jingle All The Way (Arnold Schwarzneggar Xmas Movie) Gremlins Bad Santa

Nick Parker

that is a solid list! I never saw 4 Christmases or Home for the Holidays though

Sarlacc1979

The Ref, Die Hard, and Christmas Vacation are must watch every holiday season

Arki Kali

Bad Santa, Die Hard, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation are must-watches.

Anonymous

The Ref! I haven't watched that in so long! That is PEAK Dennis Leary

Anonymous

Die Hard!!

JayWantsACat

The Nightmare Before Christmas has my vote. I'd personally vote for Scrooged. The Polar Express is not a Christmas film, it's a COSMIC TERROR ABOMINATION OF INFINITE HORROR. Don't say I didn't warn you...

The Hedge Knight

Highest Recommendation: The Bishop’s Wife Classics that you should see if you haven’t already: Miracle on 34th St. It’s a Wonderful Life Elf White Christmas Rom-Com Christmas movies: Four Christmases The Holiday Best Man Holiday (it’s a sequel, but seeing the first non-Christmas one isn’t required) Love Actually Edgy Christmas movies: Gremlins Bad Santa Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale Be a kid again: Santa Claus: The Movie Arthur Christmas Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas (A Henson Production) Noelle

Saf

I mean, Die Hard obviously

wildhunt1973

Probably not a popular opinion, but a Christmas movie I thought was great is "Last Christmas" from 2019.

Anonymous

It's not Christmas without Die Hard.

Anonymous

If you haven't seen them, these are the movies you shouldn't miss (I'm leaving off movies I know you've seen): Scrooged Lethal Weapon National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation "Last Christmas" is the Doctor Who Christmas Special that I keep coming back to (2014), though there may be others that are more popular.

Cripkie

Lethal weapon is a must. Riggs reminded me of my suicidal/ volatile nature when i was a teen.

Anonymous

Die Hard is the spirit of Christmas (in late 20th century America). The Director's commentary is excellent.

Anonymous

Definitely Die Hard.

Anonymous

Leathal Weapon and Die Hard are both classic cop movies that double as Christmas movies.

Anonymous

Hi!! Since it's the Christmas season, I wanted to recommend a movie that gets no respect. "The Ref" is an amazingly funny Christmas movie. It does have those Dennis Leary rants, but it is a really original and funny holiday movie. This poll was posted a few days ago so I assume someone else mentioned this, but please check this movie out. Love you Nat and hope you have a wonderful holiday season.

Anonymous

It just occurred to me that Iron Man 3 is sort of a Christmas Movie.

Thundarr100

I voted for A Christmas Story, but I'd really like to see Nat react to the 1974 cult classic Black Christmas (ignore the remakes, they both suck).

Anonymous

The best classic Christmas movie is Miracle on 34th Street. The original with Natalie Wood.

Anonymous

You can't watch a Christmas movie and not have it be either National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, or Jingle all the Way. The former is the greatest Christmas movie ever, and the latter is great because it's kind of terrible. But in a really fun way.

Anonymous

I realize its probably too late to suggest a Holiday Movie but "Office Christmas Party" (2016) is the funniest Holiday movie I have ever seen with an all star cast including Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston and T.J. Miller. If its too late for a suggestion you may want to check it out for your own enjoyment. The comedic talent in this movie is tremendous. Respectfully, Kenneth
