They did not make an alien ride per se, however there was an Alien section of The Great Movie Ride at Hollywood Studios at Disney World...but that ride has now closed.

Thanks Natalie. The other movies in that previous poll (such as Jaws and Predator).... have you seen those also, like you've seen Alien?

Anonymous

Love your work Nat! cant wait for Aliens.

Excellent reaction - thanks for going through all that anxiety just for our entertainment :)

Robert Reichle

Goodness. The tension building up before you start the movie might be as much as during the movie itself. LOL

You'll learn a lot more about the alien's life cycle in ALIENS. It's a much more action-oriented film then ALIEN. Make sure that you watch the extended edition, it's a far more rewarding experience. There is an alternate cut of ALIEN available on Blu-ray & DVD that shows the fates of Dallas & Brett. I also highly recommend you checkout the making-of documentary "The Beast Within". It's available to view on YouTube. Some other films that Ian Holm co-stars in that I highly recommend are the sci-fi action-adventure THE 5TH ELEMENT, the dystopic comedy BRAZIL, and the comedy-drama GARDEN STATE.

Don't apologize for talking a lot! Your reactions are why we watch! :)

Hi and thank you Natalie! It's your reaction, you do as you wish. If you want to speak, you speak, it's your choice

Curaitis

That was so enjoyable Nat. Really cute on one side and very funny on the other. Born to watch/react to Horror Movies. ;) *hug* btw nice to see your Channel growing so fast.

Gary Poussard

Cant wait for Aliens now. :)

"He's sweating milk, Sigourney!" This was easily the most entertaining reaction, ever.

What do you watch all these movies on? a laptop? My neck is killing me just watching you ;) No bigger TV you can watch on? I hope when you re-watch LOTR ,you enjoy it on a bigger screen. I'll send you my 80" home theater TV, when I replace it with 4k....ok?

Erik Lundmark

I didn't mind u talking more than usual, maybe cuz I do the same with scary movies. And this movie still scares me.. Seriously can't wait for Aliens now, one of very few sequals that are better than the original :-)

Allan Rumberger

Please don't feel obligated to watch a movie you don't want to watch! There's so many movies out there! Anyway, now that you've done this, I am looking forward to Aliens - it's far more of a straightforward action movie as opposed to horror. I disagree with the comment above about watching extended though, because the version I own is the theatrical release :)

Agree about watching the extended version of Aliens, it adds quite a bit to the story and isn't just padding.

Reggie Clark

I'm glad that the movie didn't "literally" kill you. I think that "Ew, ew, ew, ew" moment needs to become a meme or GIF, but I don't have those tech skills. It would be a blackout drinking game, if one took a drink every time you said "I forgot this happened" or something else to that effect.

Reggie Clark

In space no one can here you scream is one of the best taglines of all time.

Hi Nat, another fun reaction! I'm excited for Aliens as well. I'm always yelling at characters during scary movies too, haha. So I am thankful you do that too. Also your lighting and camera angle were totally fine! Though I know it's hard not to stress about it, try not to because honestly totally fine! I think the way you recorded audio in your old videos was totally fine too - never noticed a problem but I know you'll get it all figured out - as long as we can see and hear you good enough, I'm happy :P

Really great reaction Natalie, don't apologise for talking, like others say, that's why we watch. As others have pointed out, Aliens is a somewhat different experience, I'm sure you will be scared at points, but less jumpy I'd say and more edge of your seat stuff, oh and a lot more characterisation, I think you'll love it! You asked about the explosion at the end in space with no oxygen. Well, I can't say this is an expert opinion, but there is oxygen in the ship...so the crew can breath. But more than that, I think the explosion was mainly nuclear. When she was trying to reverse the self destruct, she shouted for Mother to restart the 'cooling tanks' I think you'd only need those for some sort of nuclear reaction to power the ship. So essentially the self destruct mechanism is an intentional nuclear meltdown.

Like everyone el;se has mentioned, you'll love Aliens, Major chick power!

Loving the new microphone, it really enhances the screams :D

nataliegold

Haha my laptop! My hope is to save up for a desktop. The office is just the best room to film in currently although I need to get a more comfortable chair eventually too

By the way this reminds me of another sci-fi horror movie you should watch- Pitch Black starring Vin Diesel. There are also two sequels. Great movie.

Oh wow, Natalie, you simply must watch Predator! Of the films in that previous poll, Alien is the most scary, Jaws is probably the best (in terms of academy award winning quality) but Predator is the most fun. It’s probably the most tetstosterone charged, masculine movie ever made. When I first saw it when I was 12, two hours later I had hair all over my body, my voice was rough and my body was chiseled. It is an action masterpiece.

Aaron Taft

That was amazing. And I loved the talking.... especially if it help you break your immersion (that is the word you are looking for) and help you not be so scared.

Alita

Your next movie should be Interstellar!

This was so fun! :) I haven't watched Aliens in ages, so I'm looking forward to see it again.

Anakin Starkiller

I definitely think you should watch the Director's Cut of Aliens. I think it's the special edition. It's 2hrs and 30 mins and it just answers more questions. But I personally think you'll like Aliens more cause that's where we get the iconic Ripley that everyone knows. And her evolution in Aliens is pretty awesome.

If i'm not mistaken the Alien's inner mouth was inspired by the dragonfly larvae mouth projection.

For a change of pace, Natalie, since you don't like quiet parts of scary movies, try A Quiet Place. The quiet parts are when it's safe. It only gets scary when it's noisy. :-)

There’s an in-universe explanation as to why the Xenomorph specifically looks man-like in this movie. It was born from a bipedal creature, that being a human. The Alien is an insanely adaptive organism. When the embryo is inserted into whatever host the Facehugger lands on, the embryo then adapts the physical characteristics of whatever organism it’s born from. Born from a human, it has the same, if not slightly increased, height, stature and bipedal form of a human. Born from some kind of quadrupedal animal, it would have four legs, and be able to run and chase down prey. Born from a creature with wings, the Alien might be able to fly, and so on. That aspect keeps the Alien/Xenomorph a fascinating movie monster decades after it first appeared on the big screen.

Cripkie

monster horror freaks me out almost as much as creepy dolls.

Okay, I'm FINALLY watching this. I decided that if I can deal with the game "Alien: Isolation" in VR, I can probably handle the movie now. (Also, I know it says don't watch it for the first time with commentary, but honestly having a commentary is the only thing making me brave enough to watch it. So much so that I'm fine with spoilers for once. [Plus the VR game probably spoiled a lot for me already.])

My_Cousin_Mose

The fact that Natalie unironically said "I'm not sure what the alien's pronouns are" is absolutely hilarious. We're living in a simulation.

Anonymous

If you ever do gaming reactions, you should do Alien isolation. That would be hilarious. Lol.
