Here we have Chai Patch's final outfit and appearance design! A brown Fancy Mouse with Dumbo Ears, Chai is small and helpless, preferring to do her work as a Search and Rescue Adventure Scout with no weapons. Her demeanour is often both rather submissive and seems somewhat unsure of herself whenever talking to a carnivore, be they animal or anthro.

Chai's method of Search and Rescue is as unconventional as her contracts are: She is tasked with the rescue of clients who are eaten alive, usually by the various beasts in Thistleland. She does this by in turn getting herself eaten alive by the same creature, by making herself as delectable as possible, and then using a small teleporter she has to teleport out the victim, sending them back to her home.

Once the victim is teleported out, Chai will have to wait for her teleporter to recharge, which can take some time as her teleporter is a small device with a long range. To help her survive that wait, her clothing is a specially made custom outfit, made with materials from Burrow Valley's local Alchemist, Sophie Patch.

Chai's outfit is designed to melt away in the stomach, converting into a digestive retardant, as well as a slow release of oxygen. These two ensure that Chai can survive the stomach of a predator far longer then most creatures, though the effects do not last long once the clothing is processed by the stomach.

The highly risky operation, combined with the high success rate of rescue and often important status of Chai's clients, means that The Adventure Guild has seen it fit to not only licence her Avala teleporter technology to enable her to work, but also allow her free restoration via the Restoration Shrine for the often situation where she is digested by the carnivore regardless.
