Weekly Update!! New Commission started!! (Patreon)

Hello once again all you amazing people on here! <3

Hope you have all had a great week? As you all would have seen the Jill and Wesker animation was released this week so I hope you all enjoyed that :D Getting straight into things though I have started the next commission animation which is going to be a short 30 second video with Dwight and The Huntress.

Now with the start of this new project I also wanted to recorded my screen while I was working so you could all see some behind the scenes stuff..... oh boy did I screw that easy task up! So I was using OBS to record my screen and either it stops recording after 2 hours or I accidently stopped it and I didn't realize this until I had finished everything I wanted to do. So I only got 2 hours out of the 8 I worked on this today :( Not only that mess up I also didn't record the first hour of me working >_<

The very first GIF is what i'm gutted about not having the video recorded as this was when I was building and lighting the scene in SFM. Instead I've done a simple image sequence showing the different lights I added to create the lighting for the scene.

The 4 GIFs after is when I was creating the blanket and editing the bed model I was going to be using. I also tried something new with this where I added loads of bones onto the blanket model so when I animate it in SFM I move certain parts of the blanket in any direction, the idea is when the people are getting freaky on top of the bed I can have the blanket moving with them a bit to make it feel less like a fully solid object. There is also a GIF showing off some of the material creation and when I first brought the model into SFM.

If anyone is interested in seeing more I have attached a video file which is 6 minutes long and it's a sped up version of the 2 hours I had recorded :) It's very fast at times but it gives you an idea of what goes on with some of the stuff I do. Sadly one of the big sections that wasn't recorded was getting the Huntress's house, getting all the textures and prepping it to export into SFM. When I start animating this one though I will start recording from the initial head hacking of the characters, posing them and finally seeing me animate them!

For the moment I'm just going to work on this animation as it's a shorter one and I'm still taking it a bit easy with everything that happened but feel free to leave any suggestions for characters for the next short animation :)
