Don't forget that some of these pledges where most likely denied. This happened a lot in Breeding Season.

It could be people being shifty when selecting their patron tier, possibly downgrading from the $20 tier into one of the cheaper options, so that they had an input in the latest poll on male characters. Its also worth saying however, that a fair portion of the dropped patrons may also be derived from banking issues when interacting with Patreon's monthly payment cycle. It shouldn't be long before they are back on $6000 anyway, Judge heath and Spurple did mention on stream that Fuzzamorous was going to get paid irrespective of the sudden drop of patrons.

chances are it probably was declined payments or people being shifty by pledging 20 just to vote on the poll and then reverted afterwards.

Oddly it will take my money but says my card is declined and refuses to let me view the patreon post. That's just prime!
