The magic academy exam is almost finished. I have two parts for the practical exam. One is complete, and I added all the code to handle failure, success and whatnot for both, but I still need to tweak some stuff for the second half. I'll also need to fine tune the difficulty, since it's a bit different from the usual puzzles, but hopefully it's interesting, although I must admit it doesn't feel too "magical" perhaps. Thinking about it for a while I didn't want to make it too much like other puzzles in the game, especially since we might have more of that once lessons start, so to speak.

I also wrote a new scene for the bimbo trait, since that's what won the last poll. I decided to add a random encounter with Lucas at the beach, if you already had sex with him and tried to go for a swim. I am unsure if I should tweak this, since the scene can't be avoided (so I don't like leaving it to random chance), but I figure if you already slept with Lucas, you probably don't mind him too much (I also didn't give this scene a pregnancy chance, because of having no choice).

I have been doing some miscellaneous stuff (checking more bug reports, preparing the new art to be added to the game, and other small things), so I didn't get much else underway currently. I'd like to release the new update around the 20th (so hopefully get things to testers this weekend, and then update the week after), so there should be plenty of time to finish the magic academy intro, and then write scenes and more (I might even have some content with the characters we already know at the academy, to have something spicy as a "welcome gift").

I also released a small update to TOTDC 1. It just fixed two dialogues being swapped, but it had to be taken care of (since it erroneously marked the outcome to one of Jane's dates). I was sitting on this fix for a while, in case new bug reports appeared, but since nothing ever came up, I finally went ahead and pushed it.

I think this is all for this week. It's been a bit slow, but I'll make up for it before release, I am sure. That's all for today, see you next time! ^_^

Lol hopefully the puzzle isn't too easy, I love a good challenge.

No worries on things being slow, start of a new year and you should not overwork yourself and burn out, plus these ideas are great!

The first half is more about timing, but hopefully the other half will fit your desires nicely. :)

I can't help but worry a little bit, I don't like it when progress isn't as smooth as it should. Still, it shouldn't be a problem to make up for it, without having to overwork myself, I think.
