I'm very much looking forward to STALKER 2 this year. The original games were something very special, eurojank warts and all. The community has been dedicated with hundreds of mods over the last 16 years which is saying something given how uncooperative the original game engine is. The glossy, UE5 look of the game trailers makes it easy to be sceptical that it will just be another generic modern shooter, and the development has had its issues including being developed in an invaded nation but I still want to believe! For anyone interested in experiencing the word of STALKER for no cost consider trying "STALKER Anomaly" a free, completely overhauled mashup of all three original games areas. Purists will rightfully argue it doesn't contain the vanilla gameplay, original plot or the janky charm of the originals but it's free, standalone, runs well on modern systems and can be tweaked or modded to your satisfaction! Cheeki breeki and get out of here stalker!

My most anticipated game of 2024 already released, and I wasn't disappointed! Tekken 8 is fantastic!
