Guest host Jess continues her extremely specific fascination with point-and-click games from the waning years of Full Motion Video games! (Actually, this came out the same year as the other one she's covered: Toonstruck! Boy, 1996 was a big year for big failures.) And this time, she's bringing along two of the actors from the game: Curtis Craig (Stetler) and one of his many in-game romantic interests, Therese (Sigrunardottir)! They discuss this bizarre game and the strange hybrid of movie and game production it underwent, only to bust out on the scene and be one of the death knells of Sierra!

Also discussed: how to get into videogames way past the prime age to do so, how not to go crazy during a pandemic, and how awkward it is to shop for bondage gear with your boss!

And don't forget to check out Paul's Youtube channel, Conversations with Curtis (https://www.youtube.com/@ConversationsWithCurtis), if you want even more behind-the-scenes trivia about this gory and gothic and goofy game.

I’ve lived in Seattle for the last ten years so it’s always cool to hear about stuff from the 90’s even if it’s “We went to a leather dungeon shop in this neighborhood to buy props…” and I think “Oh I know the place they’re talking about!”

Another excellent episode. I missed out on many point-and-click adventures because I never had a computer growing up -- that and pointing is rude.
