Hey, it's that one guy! The one major Mario character we haven't discussed in elaborate depth yet. You know the one. We're finally talking about him, which means we're probably done with Mario characters? I guess there's always the possibility of a patron request to talk about, I dunno, Bowser Jr. or something. But hopefully not.

There's a green Mario? He must be the coolest one, like the Green Power Ranger

I have a distant memory of a palette swap of Mario back in the NES days. Not sure how you'll spin that into a whole ep, but will give it a listen. 🤔

Jeremy mentioned cocaine at least twice on this podcast. Now I know how he powers through all his obligations.

Henry saying 5'9" is short... I'll refrain from typing expletives, but I'm thinking them.

I do like in the All-Stars re-release of SMW they decided to make a unique spirite for Luigi

One of my favorite aspects about Luigi is his final smash, the Negative Zone. Brawl's description: Luigi's Final Smash. As exotic music plays, he performs a dance befitting a sorcerous incantation. A barrier envelops him, negatively impacting all in his area. Random effects include getting launched, sleeping, moving in slow motion, tripping, fainting, and losing attack power. This technique is a reflection of the dark side he embraced in his brother's shadow. Source: https://www.mariowiki.com/Negative_Zone

That ultra aggressive, ice-cold evil stare that Luigi gave his fellow racers when overtaking them (as highlighted in one of the Mario Kart 8 trailers) still chills my soul to this day.

2021-10-30 04:16:07 They already made the most Mario & Luigi movie - The Blues Brothers. Elwood is Luigi, if it's not obvious.

2021-10-30 04:16:39 Seriously though I watched The Blues Brothers before I played any Mario & Luigi game and I think it really actually tempered my feelings towards the brothers. The younger one is taller, and is the one that gets shit done.

I prefer the red Mario bro. Anyone who disagrees, I have one thing to say: Letsa Go!
