Hi everyone, Jeremy here with a quick note to let you know this week's advance episode won't go up until Tuesday or Wednesday. I had the rare opportunity to interview veteran Sega developers Rieko Kodama and Toru Yoshida for the show, which is a pretty remarkable event (you don't want to know about the weeks of email back-and-forth required to make it happen).

As they've apparently never sat in for a podcast before, one of the terms of the interview was that I'd let them listen to the segment once it was edited and before posting it live. That's not standard practice for the show, but since they were kind of enough to explore a new first for their careers, I feel like I could do no less than meet them halfway.

Currently their interview segment is in their hands, but given their schedules and the time difference between here and Japan, it may take a couple of days to get their OK (assuming they do give the OK). Sorry for the complication, but hopefully you'll agree the rarity of this occasion makes this production hiccup an understandable one!

Consider my mind exploded - can't believe you were able to secure golden-era Phantasy Star talent, absolutely can't wait!!

Unreal -- I can't believe that you made this interview happen and I'm really looking forward to listening to it. Seeing as how most both of their most known credentials are vintage Phantasy Star, I wonder if there was discussion around the value of bold storytelling in Sega games, and on a related note, why Sega keeps some of their most talented people locked up in a basement.

Take all the time you need, that is an amazing scoop!

Unfortunately they wanted to keep the questions fairly general, but there are a few fun anecdotes about their work to be had.
