I've searched high and low...  Yeah, it pleases me to be the first to R34 'Bollywood Erin'.  :D

Right at the end of Erin's tenure as an insurance mascot, Ghostbot (the producers of Esurance's commercials at the time) decided that it would partner with the -now- all-but-defunct Independent Film Channel for it's "Wake up to Bollywood" film segment.  The "Bollywood" commercial was show before every Hindi film they aired.  Prior to its airing, IFC did a 'casting call' contest from viewer submitted videos, a likeness of the winner appearing in commercial's final form.  The winner, her name escapes me, is the green-clad brunette dancing in the background.

In 2010, less than a year after the commercial's announcement, Esurance dumped Erin.  By 2011 IFC all-but ceased airing "independent films" and is now little more than a dumping ground for washed up sitcoms, Walking Dead spin-offs, and the occasional horror movie.

By the way how goes the hurricane watch, any concerns yet?

Ya know I look at the two of them a lot and it just dawned on me that Erin and KP are very similar. I wonder if one was based off of the other... hmm.

Other than getting a day off from work, it was pretty much a non-event this far inland. Went to bed at 2am and got up at 8 fully expecting the power to be out....nope, still on. Otherwise, just a bunch of little tree limbs to pick up after the outer bands pass the evening.

Ghostbot (under Wildbrain at the time) may have shared some talent, but I don't think either company had any real interaction with daddy disney.

Maybe just like the G-Man they have that talent that just mimicks her looks so close it's hard to tell, but maybe they just copied her looks to help make Erin more recognizable. I guess we will never know.

Glad to hear there were no problems on your end of it. Now let's just hope there aren't any more headed for Florida this year. Good luck with the clean up.
