Always good advice when trying to be a better version of yourself, even little victories are still victories and so long as you have more of them than set backs, you will always in the end be a better version of yourself.

Learning to live my life with a chronic and unpredictable illness, this has been one of the hardest parts to accept... That progress is neither linear nor measured the same way time is. Just because the sun has set or because it is time to sleep, it doesn't mean that it has been the exact amount of time needed to move forward.
