(Patreon)
Content
This video covers a Minyo (folk song) from Aomori Prefecture, Yasaburobushi.
The lyrics of Yasaburobushi continues up to the 15the verse, and all of them are about a wife in law picked on by a mother in law. It seems that people in the past used to write songs about scandals that happened in their villages.
The tuning is Sansagari, and there are some quick notes with Hajiki and Sukui, so be sure to check carefully where and what kind of techniques are used. It would sound amazing if you can play it perfectly, so give it a shot!
