Chapter -10: Typhon vs Rose part -1

--------------

Are you wondering if I can't just cut my tail off? *Are you serious? I would be pretty much cut off from several possible transformations from Super Saiyan 4, 5, and 6 and the possibility of combining them with his Super Saiyan God form. *Ugh* "I'm hating this form..."

However, since there are whole fan theories that Goku has not reached the epitome of the possibility of Saiyan transformations. And I personally think my personal strength would also be very limited if I didn't explore these ideas to the fullest.

It still wasn't perfect and I would rather never touch the tail or have others touch it, but it no longer sent me into fits of pain mixed with a hint of paralysis. I felt uncomfortable, sure, but I could handle it. I am surprised how much innate pain tolerance a Saiyan with a little Doomsday DNA also has for a tail once they strengthen it a bit.

"Increase the weight to two tons," I said slowly. Knowing that they would not be able to watch me even when I was training and working on the controls, I had asked Lilith if there were any alternatives. There were, indeed, alternatives. It turns out that the weights can receive voice commands, but it is necessary to be typed into the system.

I just had to say a few things out loud and done, I was put into the system.  After doing this they let me train in peace. After all, they all had commitments and honestly I preferred it that way. I didn't like being watched all the time or even monitored.

But I certainly didn't want it to end up like the no-name bar.... At that moment I had completely lost control and it was certainly not a good thing if it had to happen again and again, especially if I had to face an opponent stronger than me.

Solomon Grundy had attacked me not because of some kind of order received from someone from behind the scenes or anything like that.... No! It was simply because of his fear of me.... As a reanimated being, without any souls he was a being entirely relying on his instincts, so if he decided to take this path it was because he considered me a great threat...

I didn't even know if I should take that as a compliment? I have perhaps only as a reminder for the future to try to be more prepared in the future for such a matter.

What mattered most was training and being able to train whenever I wanted without anyone bothering me.... The weight increased as I thought, slowly. It was a safety measure for when using the weights alone and with voice commands. If it ever became too much, you could simply call the weight to stop increasing.

As the weight reached four tons, my tail visibly trembled and the familiar feeling of discomfort now crawled down my spine. I ignored it and the fatigue in my tail, choosing to focus on my Ki.

But it too was suffering from the moment I had held the exercise. Using my Ki to full power was rapidly eroding my reserves, but even I was surprised that I had lasted this long...

I didn't think Saiyan in general had a defined limit of Ki.... I have never seen them run out of Ki. They only get tired because it's due to the physical task or being super injured, except that for them to run out of Ki completely was very surprising since after every battle their reserve increases accordingly.

If I was focused only on boosting Ki without trying to push it beyond my limit, I could try to go on down the road much longer I was pretty sure.

But I lacked the skill to do so.... Many people forget that Goku is a martial arts master because of the flashy transformations and destructive energy beams and fight choreography usually not seen, but it is a fact that people should recognize and not diminish with time.

However, training for a long time has not been my goal. This kind of exercise quickly depletes my Ki, but it also improves the reserves once they have fully recovered. I get the same results if I use only one type of Ki Control exercise, but the more I add, the better the results seem to be.

Regardless of how much I wanted to continue, my Ki eventually gave way and I slowly lowered myself to the ground with my tail, "Turn off the weight," I took deep breaths. Sweat covered my frame and I could feel extremely hungry - shower and then go eat something good....

As I felt my body perish very quickly from fatigue, I felt a Ki signature approaching the training room/gym with slow steps but with obvious precision that would be impossible for normal people.

Ki sensing was a technique I had learned quite easily after a few minutes after getting out of my prison.... However it was really just sensing your Ki ... but outside and in other people.

It was hard to explain just like it's hard to explain to people how to perceive their Ki. I mean if I ever tried, which I probably wouldn't have. However, I still wasn't good at perceiving differences in Ki signatures. To be more precise if there wasn't a big difference in strength I couldn't immediately determine the target in question.

So the person approaching was Slade, Rose. It couldn't be Gilotina because she had very considerable Ki reserves indeed, but not large enough compared to how strong I knew she actually was.

Unlike the Kripotians who had 'met' and tried to hurt his powers come from the energy of a Yellow Sun reacting with his cells being improved by pure energy is natural, it's like saying that exercising and gaining muscles is actually physical strength.

As you know how stupid that is, there are changes at the cellular level, just because they don't exercise and use oxygen and other forms of energy to energize and change their cells doesn't mean they are not physically strong, They just use a better source of energy that doesn't require the whole unnecessary process.

But Gilotina, however, I would say it is because she is a divine being and her power is due to that, or I just can't perceive her true amount of Ki. It was really very interesting, I wondered if I was also in a similar situation as you.

Turning the corner and stopping in front of the gymnasium doors for them to open, I saw Rose. I sighed in response. I knew I said I wanted to fight her, but I had things to do. Like shower and eat before resting for a while and then going back to training.

I caught an object she had casually thrown at me, looking at my hand to see what exactly it was. *Mhm*I quietly snatched one with my mouth and started eating the ultra-dense nutrition bar. Apparently they had been made for Metahumans or Aliens who have dietary requirements far beyond a human in terms of calories needed on a daily basis.

Some of them could even leave me satisfied for a brief integer. Drawback? They tasted like shit. Or rather, they don't taste like anything which is basically what makes eating so boring, but they were perfect after a good, very intense training session.

However, I would not refuse the food. What kind of Saiyan would I be if I did? I at least never refuse free food, right?

Grossly lowering the first bar, I looked at Rose, "I don't have time for a little fight today. I need to shower, rest and train some more later."

"Hm," he hummed in response before sitting down on a nearby bench, "Are you afraid? ~~ I was actually asked to help with your training." I shot her a look, so she continued, "Gilotina told me about your request to her. She asked me to help you if I had free time, after all, I have more experience than you in martial arts~~ And I was just thinking of a way to let off steam and especially I've wanted to fight you for some time."

Fear? Who me? I was just worrying about her... After all, it was clearly not a good idea to fight someone who would die with a punch. But I still got nothing but excited thinking about fighting her.

From what I remembered from the comics. Martial arts in DC can give super strength. For example, Batman knocked out Killer Croc with one punch; Karate Kid was able to fight Superman.

Above all, Rose was far from stupid: the daughter of the world's greatest mercenary was very smart for her age and it was quite obvious that she just wanted to tease me from the big smile on her face and it was clear that she had already thought of a solution to make the fight between the two more balanced.
