"Well, as soon as you feel my Qi accumulating in your body, integrate with the demonic spirit and you will see a huge increase in soul strength." Li Ming said, feeling his energy warm her skin. Then he raised his other hand and invoked his Yang Qi, and golden flame-like energy grew around his fingers.

"Right." Ning'er nodded obediently.

With his hand facing the sun, he began to cultivate. But not using his usual cultivation technique. No, actually Li Ming knew several cultivation techniques. After all, he had learned several cultivation techniques available to the public in Glory City within the public library and learned them all to try to increase his compression on the different elements of nature to facilitate his future compression with the laws.

Including the Ten Thousand Beast Totem cultivation technique and the inheritance he had given to Ning'ers the night before, Li Ming knew many different cultivation techniques...

They were just uninteresting and trivial to him and didn't interest him much; he had not yet found a cultivation technique using Yang Qi that would pique his interest.

Techniques that used Qi Yang were among the least used cultivation styles in the Glory City, which worked best for males, tapping into the energy of the sun and cultivating it in the soul realm.

But of course the simple cultivation techniques of the City of Glory were very poor and could not fully satisfy him, so for this time he had to rely on his special physiology that he had discovered since he had ended up in this world.

"Hyah!" Ning'er gasped, her eyes widening as the energy penetrated her very being. But, demonstrating her maturity, she was not surprised for long.

A moment later, her cyan blue soul power came to life around her, and the spherical demonic spirit she held in her hands merged with her. And her soul force, like a raging flame around her body, rose up in the form of a small cyan pillar of soul power.

"Mhm" Li Ming smiled as he saw the spectacle that was happening in front of him as he continued to transfer more of his Yang Qi into her body. "It is going beyond the rank of three-star bronze."

When he was sure that he had injected a sufficient amount of Yang Qi inside Ning'er, Li Ming moved his hand away from her side, noting that he had everything under control and that his work was done for the time being, and stepped back.

The boy looked at the enormous fortitude radiating from her and was pleasantly surprised by that display of talent-"she has reached the rank of five-star bronze, from what I can perceive," he thought with some interest.

Of course, the main reason she had jumped so high was that the cultivation of Sun Qi Yang had been multiplied, thanks to him. But it was still commendable that she was able to handle such a massive increase in power so quickly. "It will hurt a lot, though; even though his Yang cultivation is that and his physical strength and soul strength will improve a lot compared to before."

"Well, it will probably take some time, so we might as well cultivate the Aspect Totem." Li Ming said to himself as he reached into his pocket for the five-star bronze rank earth devourer.

Li Ming saw himself sitting cross-legged behind the orange-haired girl, put his hands on the demonic spirit, and closed his eyes, mentally sinking into his soul realm and replacing the outside world with a lake of shimmering crimson energy and shimmering black lightning bolts swirling around him.

A small rhythm drew his attention to his Aspect Totem, noticing that it was beating its largest claw to attract his attention. When it met his eyes, it seemed to light up with excitement and waved its claws toward him in an enthusiastic greeting.

Li Ming could not help but chuckle as he waved. Undoubtedly, the demonic beast in front of him thought it had no spiritual consciousness, but it was developing a basic intelligence.

His Aspect Totem seemed to have been awaiting his arrival for some time as it reached him, rising and rubbing itself against his chest, almost like an overgrown dog.

"Hey, buddy," he greeted him again, lightly rubbing the long white horns he had as a protrusion at the top of his head, "Everything okay in here?"

He replied with a roar-he was a male, as far as he could tell-waving his large claw at him with obvious joy at seeing him here.

"All right," Li Ming said simply. The more his Aspect Totem grew, the more he could use it for different methods, it could even help him subdue other things invading his soul realm, "Hmm, I can't keep calling you that, so I'll give you a name, okay?"

The great beast merely tilted its head to the side with obvious confusion, after all it was simply a Totem Aspect that would not even acquire spiritual consciousness in the future, at least that something special would not happen in the future...

Hmm... White, with horns that look like a crown on his head. "Well, from now on your name is Leshen!" Li Ming called him for the first time.

Then something changed. Li Ming could not figure out what, but it almost seemed as if a light entered the eyes of Leshen's new name, and his mouth took on a shape almost resembling a terrifying smile as he raised both giant claws in the air that could have easily killed a gold-black rank cultivator.

Li Ming looked at his demonic spirit for a few moments, and when he calmed down he turned his attention back to his Aspect Totem, "So, I'm going to pull another demonic spirit in here," said Li Ming, "Are you hungry?"

"Hrrra!!!" Leshen nodded instantly, with deep eyes you wouldn't expect from a demonic beast.

"All right, then." Li Ming laughed before reaching out with his soul force and clinging to the demonic spirit cupped in his physical hands and dragging it into his soul realm.

Immediately, a loud roar resounded throughout the soul realm as the massive Earth Devourer appeared and closed his eyes on him and lowered his head to charge him, but before he could do so, Leshen, who was a giant in comparison, drove his white claw into the beast's face with all his mind.

The difference in physical power was simply too great, and to no one's surprise, his Totem Aspect easily kept the Earth Devourer engaged while his attention was completely focused on the one who had attacked him.

He lunged, gaping his jaws in an attempt to bite Leshen, but before he could do so Li Ming joined hands, summoning a barrier of spiritual energy to catch him inside and immediately subdue him, crushing the demonic spirit.

Distracted as he was by the onslaught of Leshen and Li Ming catching him by surprise, he had little chance to react with his own willpower.

The Devour Earth fell limp a few moments later under the onslaught of overwhelming force and sheer willpower assaulting him.

"That was easier than I thought." Li Ming chuckled; after all, he did not want his Aspect Totem that was still growing to be injured, so he wanted to act more cautiously than usual.

"Hrrra!!!" Leshen exalted again, sliding over to rub himself happily.

"Thank you for your help, friend, now you can eat your fill," Li Ming praised him sincerely, as he watched his Aspect Totem eat the earth devourer without worry.
