This was the payoff page, the reveal that, yes, this was a TG story. :) We're about 1/4 of the way through the first tale of Quillian and Q's human male self makes his first appearance.

The backstory here never explained is that Quillian must spend some time in each form everyday and the transformations can be done at will, but just after midnight is demon-time and just after sunrise is human-time. More drama that way.

Yeah. A situation that sort of came around this time but was not fronted. In a later story, Q would have found out what happens if she did not get inside to change before sunrise. :) That story was going to be called "Like a Moth to a Flame" and would feature Ardiel Heavenscent, a fallen angel. It's outlined and broken down but without a script.
