Old Pic, New News (Patreon)

So, I've been looking at everything involved.

Everyone wanting a book of at least P'Thok ran right out and put their money where their mouth is, which is absolutely amazing as far as I'm concerned. I'm humbled and awed that so many people want copies of the stuff I stream of consciousness onto Reddit.

Anyway, the thing crossing my mind was: What next?

Well, due to popular demand, and what stories are complete and focused, it was a choice between "Fizzybrew and Fear" (AKA Dambree) and "The Telkan Wars" (Vuxten) for the next one. I decided to do Vuxten first.

Now, the big thing I ran into is, who do I have do the artwork. The previous artist is booked solid for 3 months, so I thought I would ask all of you what you think.

I'd like something that I can stretch across both the back and front covers.

I'll be starting editing and moving stuff onto the Word document (or maybe Scrivener that I still own from my old college days) so I can look at everything. There are some bad word choices, names that drifted over the course of the series (General Nodra'ak to No'Drak for Ol' Smokey No) as well as some other stuff.

So, it'll be Vuxten first, then Dambree's book, and that will be my weekend projects as well as what I'll be working on once the move is complete. It's really close, probably a couple more trips while the painting gets done and dries.

I had to have the drywall and blown in insulation all pulled as well as two window frames being pulled, so it required new wiring in the walls of the frontroom, Pink Panther house meat, new dry wall, new paint. But hey, the plumbing and water heater and foundation are all good. (That'll teach me to buy a house for $1)

Anyway, now you know. I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to see two more books in the Tales of the Terran Confederacy series.
