It's not so much the hunt for prey, or the act of swallowing a well-earned meal that tires a pred out. When your food's weight settles into your gut, and digestion begins, most preds naturally begin to feel drowsy. It takes a lot of effort to absorb so much nutritious meat, and the body tends to prioritize its own fuel.

This is why so many preds love a good, long nap after they eat ❤

There are few things more satisfying than slowly drifting off to the soft squirming of your catch. The gentle tickling of every gurgle, the ever so subtle vibrations from each churn. So much activity stirred up deep down inside your body, it all calmly lulls you into a deep sense of satisfaction. Not indulging in a nap just seems silly with all this going in your favour.

On the other hand... not only the pred gets to enjoy these sensations. Imagine yourself as the prey in such a scenario. You've been eaten, whole and alive, and stuffed far down inside a pitch-black stomach. It's slimy, your skin tingles... and it's warm. Very warm~ ❤ Your pred's insides hug almost every bit of your skin. The weight of your ample, nutritious body is being cradled by a powerful mass of hungry stomach lining. There's nothing more you can do, except to give in. You've already been eaten, so what's there to worry about now? Let the relaxing contractions from your pred's gut ease you into a restful sleep, as your supple skin is gently kneaded all over~...

This was drawn with my new principle for colorized drawings in mind, and I feel it's a step in the right direction! \^o^/ It's also given me a better idea of how I can improve on my approach to the shading and lighting next time.

Wonder how long it's going to take to work this meal all the way down? ;3c Hope you like it!

P.S.
I've also included a PSD (Photoshop) project file as a fun bonus! This PSD has been converted from a SAI file, which I usually work with. Unfortunately, SAI projects are way bigger than PSD, so for the sake of a reasonable upload, I'll only be including PSD files for now, and saving them at quarter the original size. Most of my art is done in 4k resolution, and this project file is exported to 720p instead.
