I haven't posted in a while so I'm posting this now even though it has some issues. This is what I've been working on and finding or recording the audio and other footage has been time consuming. But maybe I should let it rest while I record other stuff.

Oh I've decided to try to learn stuff like nuke and do more in after effects. I'll let you know more later. I'm beat.

Helping You Forget

Oooo, this was rad! Really liked the visuals and especially the faded choir in the background. The choir didn't trigger tingles but it did lower my heart rate and settled my thoughts. I would def consider using that in future videos. The ending sequence was fine even though it was, let's say, blasphemous. Gasp! About the only thing I would say is maybe a bit lower or very gradually fading the volume. I was nodding off at that point and the intensity brought me back to the present. Not a "bad" thing though as that could be the creative intent, which makes sense.

Haven’t watched it yet (omw to work) but will asap! Thanks for the update during your break.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I assume you mean when the poem begins. I will definitely fade it in more and take the entire thing down a notch. I don't want it to be that jarring.

The soft singing that comes in around 29:40 was amazingly relaxing and a fantastic addition to the video. I'd agree with the other commenter that it'd definitely be something to add to future videos as it's very effective and I feel like I don't actually see it in ASMR videos very often. Overall, I think this is some fantastic progress on the video and I love how you lean into the relaxing psychedelic spookiness as it progresses. You've done a great job on it!

The ending was phenomenal! Love the vocal distortion effects, the particle effects and the chanting/song at the end!

It is a great video, but I still dislike when the same phrases are said 10-30 times in a row. Also I was listening to this in bed and the sound effects pulled me out of my sleep often. However when I was awake it was perfectly fine.

Ok, so, I went back for a second listen. I had my headphones (Senn HD560S directly from my phone) at about 60% throughout the video. I turned it down to about 45% for the final bit and that seemed about right. TBH, it's really just the part after your lines end. The higher pitch choir, drums, and chanting? at the very end. So maybe the starts around there. People have all sorts of different audio setups and preferences, so it's hard to say one way or another. Overall, I really liked this one!

So often bliss escapes me. I feel you've mended some of those cracks.

This was great Ardra! You’re voice and creativity are unmatched!

Thank you so much for the video! I watched the video mostly through the lens of just viewing for art and the ending gave me chills, especially at the end when it says “KILL.” I literally audibly gasped haha. Looking forward for the final product!

The light switch flicks and the pen clicks... HNNNG, always liked those sharper/unexpected sounds. Kind of like exploding head syndrome (look it up) except not frightening or anything. The manner in which you contextualize different noises within your soundscapes is very relaxing!

You have the best voice in the game, no joke. The fact that you have this great creative drive makes it even better.
