This contains spelling errors and I made a quick animation the last couple days that needs more work. I haven't added storm sounds yet and the end will have a layered part. But before I work on it further I'd like to get some advice and make sure it's appropriate.

I believe the large face on the mask is actually a shaman and the top figure is the king and I'll include a note about this.

What I mean by the end is a second half I haven't done yet :)

This is really cool, I love indigenous art so this is a treat! Also appreciate the beginning statement.

Thank you for bringing this art to the public consciousness. You're so damn good at your craft.

This reminds me of my favorite video of yours, the musical instruments museum one, so I'm already loving it! (Btw is that video unlisted somewhere? I miss it). And I always appreciate how careful you are about avoiding appropriation

I only somewhat recently unlearned what I picked up in school (in Texas) and learned Mayan civilization didn’t just get “wiped out” by Europeans - there are millions of kids being raised mainly speaking languages in the Mayan language family today - which I feel ashamed I didn’t know for most of my life, but it made me really happy to find out. Like some small part of an injustice was reversed - even if only in my head.

I love this one! Reminds me of the Christian objects review from a while ago

Thank you for sharing respectful educational information about these beautiful art pieces. I was listening passively to relax but perked up when you brought out the kachina doll. My family is from New Mexico and has these dolls but never told me much about them. If you want some creepy stuff for a future videos look up Navajo skin-walkers. The myths and stories are very interesting.
