My adventuring party had been getting hassled by the town guards so I decided to break away and take a stroll down by the seaside. It was such a beautiful day. The waves were rolling in and I could taste the salty sea air. I decided to kick off my boots and take a little dip. I may have dozed off as I was floating and drifted a bit further than I had planned to. Just as I was about to make my way back I felt something brush against my foot! I swam a little faster but I was no match for the creature beneath me! A strong and slimy tentacle swiftly wrapped around my ankle and I could feel it making his way up my leg! I peered down to see what had me and you could imagine my surprise when I saw several eyes peering back at me! When I reached land and retreated from the water, he lost his grip and lurched back into the waves. Don't swim alone, friends!
