If so, what themes should be in poll to determine which theme it will be for February?

Please comment with your theme idea/suggestion.

All kinds of fantasy Elementals would be nice. Some kind of mixed elemental types in one body. Like magma, frost, wood+stone, steam and stuff. Also small ones and big ones.

I think this is a great idea. A batch of a bunch of different monsters that go together every month would be awesome. I suggest a war camp Orcs and the like

Anonymous

Spectrum, wildfire and other spirits and ethereal entities

Monsters of the swamp

Anonymous

That would fit another patreon, this is Monsters Miniatures I do not believe that something in the Miniatures Races plan is what you are looking for. Maybe monthly cycles of monsters and thematic beings of Greek, Viking, Maya mythology ... but in Orcs, Elves etc plan I do not see it and that I would love a series of Dwarves because the loose dwarf liche or other humanoids do not have much use in solitary.

Armored Arena pit monsters and gladiators to face off against the heroes for 168th harvest festival or a bunch of 'were' creatures.

Anonymous

Eldritch creatures

Anonymous

I like comrade kush's idea with a few different elements and Alberto's idea with his spectrums and spirits

Anonymous

Goblinoids

Tyler Hurst

Astral Sea, Egyptian, Undead Horde (typically unseen undead creatures - undead Sphinx, undead giants, undead troll, etc.)

Anonymous

Demons would be awesome Glabrezu, Marilith, Balor. Maybe even making a model for some lesser made Demon Princes like Graz’zt or Fraz.

I know this is conflating a bunch of cultures, but Latin and South American mythical creatures are extremely under-represented in the miniatures world (AFAICT). It would be amazing to see your interpretations of things like the serpent form of Quetzalcoatl, tzitzimitl, La Llarona, La Catrina, Supay, and on and on. :-)

Pulp Heroes, Villians, Zeppelins, Bi planes, race cars...all the great things of a better past thats been forgotten

Anonymous

Various flying monsters that are not dragons, griffons or phoenixes!

Anonymous

Gnolls!

Robb

I know it doesn’t fit your themes but I’d like to suggest some steampunk characters or post apocalyptic survivors

Anonymous

Pirates

Anonymous

Fairy-folk. I just binge-watched Carnival Row!

Anonymous

Or how about undead non-humans

Anonymous

archandel legion

Anonymous

or some cyborg

Anonymous

cheaper tiers would be a nice theme.

Atieno

I think the tiers are pretty cheap for what you’re getting, personally.

Atieno

Yes to themes but please not dragons or lovecraft models.

Anonymous

Giants, Goliath's and firbolgs!

Anonymous

Anything other than Cthulhu related or dragons.

Anonymous

Underdark

KingWiku

The problem with themes is, if you don’t like the theme in a month, you’re stuck with all stuff you don’t want/need. The advantage of everyone picking/voting, is there’s typically 2 or 3 things you end up liking. Of course, if the theme is really vague, like ‘undead’, or ‘animals’, it’s not as bad. But when it’s very specific, like ‘dragons’, or ‘goblins’, that’s where you start to lose people.

Underwater! Like creatures, maybe humanoids, monsters, etc.

Lisa Kellogg

How about an Asian theme in honor of Chinese new year.

Keith J. Farmer

Eberron tie-in? Peryton, winged stag. Firbolgs, other common races of generic class. Generic encounter fodder.

Not a big fan of a themed line up, I really like the concept to get a mixed bag every month like before

Atieno

like I agree with this... as long as the themes are super vague. Akin to how the 4 sets were done in the kickstarter: so things like "undead", "fae", "celestials", "infernal"... stuff that's super vague and can have a range of different useful models inside. I would be against themes like "elves" or "goblins". As an example, I suppose its like I would be okay with "dragon-kin" but not okay with "dragons" as dragons are just so specific... whereas dragon-kin opens up a whole host of options, which includes dragons but isn't limited to them. (although that's just an example... please not dragons. I backed the dragon add-on in the kickstarter and I'm kinda swimming in dragons at the moment)

Sebastian Dzik

I'd like a two or three themes per month;)

Anonymous

Not a fan of themes. But what we really need is an Orthon - an infernal Bounty Hunter who is sent by the ArchDevils of Hell to find/retrieve items or people. Please, we need an Orthon! (It is a D&D monster that's appeared in Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes)

Treants! would be something.......

Anonymous

I would love to have a city residents theme. The Castle Denzins weekly set was great, I need to fill up my Gothic city!

Anonymous

Humaniod mobs (guards, bandits, villagers, merchants, pirates, theives/assassins, etc) those sorts.

Anonymous

pathfinder-styled goblins

Sebastian Dzik

Cultists and dark fantasy characters :)

Anonymous

I really liked it when you were offering the 4 themed minis ever friday on the store. i didn't mind paying for them, especially with the patreon discount. i DO like the themed sets because i can have a whole collection of npc/enemies at once time for an encounter (series of encounters), without having to "accumulate" them over time.

Anonymous

smoke or air related creatures and humanoids. also, i'd like to add that I'd love to see the inclusion of a "spell effects" mini "fire wall, brambles, a magic aura that can fit around your characters base to show they're protected." something "spell-like"

Anonymous

Humanoids - orcs, goblinoids

Anonymous

Treants. Orc, Goblins, Skeletons, and the like have been done many times already.

Anonymous

H.P. Lovecraft Mythos creatures/cultists or Outer Plane creatures i.e. memphits, quaits, imps, etc.

Anonymous

An entire month centered around Eberron would be cool. A Warforged Colossus would be enough to convince me to jump to the Epic tier.

Anonymous

Eberron/steampunk would be amazing!

Anonymous

Would love basic miniature, skellies, gobs, bandits, and other early game dnd type stuff

Anonymous

Just to have it said...Baby Themed Feburary!

Anonymous

Yes... Infection and disease! let’s get some really horrific miniatures!
