Not gonna lie, Kim Jong Ill (he’s sick) cracked me up, if they dragged that out for 5 minutes it would be incredible

Hey Luke and Will: two suggestions for the show. 1 Masked and Anonymous , the Bob Dylan movie from 2003. I havnt seen it in years but it’s unforgettably singular. Also:The Edge, aka the Bear movie starring Anthony Hopkins as a heroic billionaire. Written by David Mamet . I watched it recently and it’s a great example of the Might makes Right libertarian preoccupations always swimming in Mamet’s work that were just about to go nuclear in the late-life born again conservative self awakening of the early oughts. It’s a really interesting movie full of great low key character moments and weird allusions to greater themes while also being a movie about Anthony Hopkins vs a Bear version of JAWS. And a discussion on the Alec Baldwin character could be its own episode.

Crazy Christian

Sorkin guilty of a classic atheist gaffe: confusing the Immaculate Conception (the Roman Catholic doctrine that Mary was conceived by her parents in the normal way, but was miraculously free from original sin at her conception) with the virgin birth (the universally-held Christian doctrine that Jesus was miraculously conceived by Mary without sexual intercourse).
