Maybe an unusual guest recommendation but I would love to hear you guys chat with Todd McGowan, the UVM professor of film studies. Are you familiar with him? He has a podcast called “Why Theory?” and is a psychoanalytic film theorist. He has a good sense of humor and shares your politics. I think he’d make a great guest. (He’s very generous with his time and has appeared on dozens of other podcasts.) Also, it’s a TV show (and so is Studio 60!), but would you be interested in talking about “Trailer Park Boys”? Such a great show and I think it would resonate with many American fans from the North East (and Appalachia), as anyone who’s familiar with these areas will immediately recognize continuity with the “Trailer Park Boys” environment. Thanks!
