Visited Post Office last week to check if parcel deliveries were OK to the UK. Told no problem and given some labels and told Airmail and SAL was OK. Yesterday armed with cards, calendars and a parcel went back to the PO. First up the parcel, ask which service, opted for SAL. My precompleted forms taken away and folders were check. Turns out SAL has not been an option for a long time. Parcel reweighed for Airmail and I almost fell over at the cost, took the parcel home. Cards were next with no problem. Then the calendars. Did I want to send them SAL ? Another advantage of wearing a mask, they could not see the look on my face. All these videos on visits to the post office really do represent life in Japan. 👍
