Enlightenment Cave (Patreon)

I thought about a lore idea for elf culture

There's this a magic cave where elves would go to spend years inside for a magical "holiday". Since they can live for thousands years, spending few years inside such cave is not a really long time for them. They could spend inside up to 10 years if they'd like to.

The cave is inhabited by evil lustful demons that like to lure humans into the cave to capture their life spirit (and valuables maybe). This doesn't really work as intended with elves as they have strong magic to protect their mind and body. To regular human, the cave's magic would totally hypnotize them, but to elves, it put them into strong state of lust.

But still, they couldn't get out of the cave by themselves (they wouldn't want to because of the cave's magic on their mind). Before they go in, they would make plans with other elves (or specialized human) to extract them back out after a certain time.

Quite proud of this one, I feel like I've levelled up with this piece. But I cannot say for sure yet, I need to repeat and produce art with this style for a few times then I can say for sure, I have levelled up.

On another note, when I almost finished this piece, I noticed this character kinda look like Zelda because of the color scheme. Could've got extra internet points if I draw her as Zelda 😂
