Sorry this one came so late everyone. I've been having 'interesting times' as one of you put it and it tripped me up bad. I'm back on course now and will have a new strip up no later than Tuesday, with another to follow that Friday or Saturday. Gonna be firing on all cylinders here.

I'm not going to toss out three years of work. I'll not happy where the story is, I will find a way out of the narrative dark place I've taken it. Thank you for sticking this out with me y'all, and for being patient with me while I work it all out.

Thank you for those who stuck around despite my creative drought the past couple of weeks. I feel terrible and I'm working hard to try and catch up as fast as I can. Y'all are paying me for this, and by the goddess, I will deliver. I'll see you all back here Monday or Tuesday with a new strip. I've heard authors talk about how characters and storylines took over from the author. This is obviously one of those times. It happens to many authors. The Blackstone arc can wait until you're ready (if ever)

It seems unfortunate that you need to "lose", or well, temporarily set aside all that work, but you're right that it's been a dark arc, and maybe it's best to do so -- it was taking you in a direction that I was wondering how you'd get out of it. Go back to the earlier story line, when your world was a happier place. Blackstone can wait.

If it make you happier as a person and a creator go for it. I almost forgot about the Starlight Butterfly character, I'm looking forward to what you do next. If you do decide to do the Blackstone Arc in the main universe maybe it could be the cast going to an exclusive resort and Alexia escape was an elaborate fetish game. Making the current Blackstone are as an AU is for the best, the way things are going it was likely to have a Bad End,

I will be happy to see a return to lighter hearted stories, and I hope that they might help cheer you up like they have cheered me up. Keeping the darker timeline as a ventspace could also be helpful, but don't ding yourself up for our sake, we're here for the artist, not the art Fi, YOU are the important part of this equation, not an arbitrary page count, or a particular storyline, so focus on whatever makes you happiest and that'll make us all happier in the process!!

Well now, it's good to see Micheal and Gunther in this alternate setting, wonder if they are both in a relationship with Evita here (like the original timeline), or are they just really good friends who'd play together at these events? It does seem like the first one to my mind, given Evita's choice of words. But certainly very interesting to see how both Alice and Anya are extremely curious to learn more about what is going on, while they also find Micheal and Gunther super attractive (with Alice really being hit hard by this attraction, with them struggling to not become extremely flustered)! Wonder what the next comic might cover, maybe the first interaction taking place between both groups... As for retconning the Original Collar 6, by jumping back in time to when Variscite had tried to take some of Michelle's family (with her getting arrested and brought in for questioning about what she was up to, only for Variscite to get discretely sent back home to the Blackstone Kingdom and the whole matter gets hushed up [with Michelle's group only finding out this detail after the fact, when they try contacting the cops for a status update on the whole situation]; due to Blackstone having employed a legal ruling which allows the people in charge of a country to repatriate those people who were working for them, in order to personally handle all the punishments for any crimes that these people might have committed while they were aboard; this whole affair hinting at something super shady and making Michelle feel even more suspicious of just what exactly is going on in the Blackstone Kingdom), before they now try to deal with the whole Starlight Butterfly situation first? Go right ahead with this plan of action now: since all these comics were quite clearly stressing you out a great deal with every new page you posted, both due to just how dark those events were and all the various scars (both mental and psychical ones) which would be left on the characters once this current arc had ended, while also torturing yourself with what you were putting them through. You're the artist here Fi, so you should feel perfectly free to do whatever makes YOU the happiest! I will continue to support all your hard work though, no matter what happens or how long this takes...
