Went to my nieces' birthday party on Saturday. Since the two were boring like a week or so apart from one another they have a shared birthday party. This years theme was Taylor Swift. It being a birthday party for 6 year olds and younger I mostly hung out with my brother and sister in law as we stood off to the side. Seemed like all the kids and their parents had a good time, so it worked out well! I had fun chillin' and snackin' on chips.

This Saturday I'm carpooling with my brother and sister-in-law to go see the nieces' dance recital. It's gonna be all the way in Fort Worth, hence why I'm carpooling for half of the way as not to the entire Dallas to Fort Worth drive for a 30 minute recital. With this Saturday it'll be three weeks in a row of going to my home town to do family stuff. Gonna need a break next weekend from using all that gas for the commute. Thing is I ordered that Princess Peach game for the switch because I showed my older niece it and she was interested and I want to play it with her, so I'll have to go again sometime in the near future. Hard part will be asking my sister to let me play it with her. Last time I got to play video games with them was last May when the Mario movie came out, and instead of playing Mario games my sister had me put on Mario Party, which, ya know, kinda sucks! And they didn't care for it either so that was a bit of a blow...
