Hello!

Sorry for not updating you guys sooner on how this has been going!
I've kept working and tugging along, Partially splitting some time between some random modding projects that never really got off the ground for myself. And also the Peach showtime mod!

Some of you who hang around the discord know that i have been doing a new way of handling and making the meshes for this mod project as a way to challenge myself.
And lately as the last few outfits I've been working on does not really have textures i can use from within the game I've had to resort to learning Substance Painter more properly.

This is a big reason why the final few outfits are taking so long, Not only does the modelling and weight process take a long time but now I' also adding to it sculpting high poly meshes and baking materials to then be able to add to and work with inside substance itself.

In other words the entire process takes time.

Combine that with IRL work having eaten into my time too so its been hard to finish this

However i do wanna showcase some of the work that has yet to be featured here that's been done through both this and other texturing processes i have done.

Mighty Peach

This was another one of those i was completely clueless about I was not sure what to do design wise with this outfit at all aside from the fact i was very interested in keeping the actual tight suit style to it.

Smalf came back with a Zero Suit Samus looking design and me being a metroid fan could only say YES!

Sadly the ingame cutscene does a really poor job at showing the actual swimsuit looking design. There is a distinct color variation between the black and grey part alongside a outline of even darker black where they meet.

Cowgirl Peach

So some of you guys might have seen the Cowgirl peach being way more of a bikini, That was the initial plans, however i felt like it was a bit plain and speaking to Smalf he was very open to giving it a spin on the design floor and came back with this phenomenal design!

And after the work in 3D with the texturing process for this one being quite extensive this was the final result ingame!

Figure Skater Peach

This was another one i was clueless, but thankfully Smalf once again came to the rescue with some amazing design ideas for it! I've shown it before here but i only now finally finished it properly, It had some extremely Jank methods of how it dealt with the textures in the custcene, It uses a seperate Material for the cutscene which does not include the skin texture which means i cannot get it to work properly. HOWEVER! I was able to work around this by basically doubling the X and Y of the texture itself and scaling the textures to fill seperate square of this new superscaled texture.

There is still some small fine tuning left to do on this design particularily with the skirt.

Detective peach

And so the final end boss of this modpack is nearing its completion. I've struggled to get down the workflow with how to sculpt and work with the Cloth simulations in blender sculpting but I feel like the actual high poly model is done now so I'm about to begin the actual texturing process of the Dress Shirt.

The coat & Heels are already finished! I was able to repurpose off the original Textures the game had for the well endowed version.

So next time you guys see a update about this its going to be a finished outfit!

Where can i download the mod?

So as of right now nobody has access to it outside of me and very select few people who are helping with the mod. This is due to me refusing to paywall something like this and also because we all know a particular company is very open to taking down mods of their games.

Basically i am finishing the mod and having it in a feature complete state before i even dare upload the mod to the public, due to if it gets taken down there is a good chance i cannot continue working on it afterwards, So i want to prevent that from happening!
That way even if it gets taken down, at worst there will be some minor tweaking in updates i wont be able to do rather than any major part of the mod unable to ever get finished.

Curious how you access the files from each game to mod? would be interested in seeing that process...

I do go over it quite a bit over on the discord, The discord is more or less a way to help people learn modding. However if there is interest I'd be open to doing a form of tutorial breakdown on how to export and import models into games as well as how we generally pull of physics for them.
