Junho attached to Kakao's Entertainment's Super Webtoon project (Patreon)

So.. I don't quite know what to make yet, of this news, but this is what we've got so far.

Kakao Entertainment wants to create the next "Itaewon Class" by leveraging on promising webtoons and turning them into live action video content such as movies or serials.

Its first pick is webtoon "The Siren," which is about Aria, a siren who captures people with her songs. In the story, Aria enters a contract marriage with a man who's sold his soul to the devil.

Now this is the part that I'm not clear about. News articles state that Junho has been picked as the main model for the project, and that Kakao Entertainment will release several advertisement clips of the webtoon starring Junho from Mar. 21 via its social media accounts.

Um.. What does this mean? 

Does it mean that Junho's the face of the project, but won't act in it? Or is he going to play the man who's sold his soul to the devil..?

The released pictures imply that he will act as the male lead, but.. the phrasing of the articles isn't very clear. 

It's never crossed my mind to have Junho act as a webtoon-inspired character, but these pictures now have me thinking that that might actually be a pretty good idea. 🤩

The article also states the the webtoon "The Siren" was launched on 26 December 2021 on Kakao's webtoon platform, and the webtoon will be launched globally in April.

No word yet on the thing that I'm most interested to know, which is, when does the live action version air, and will Junho be starring in it?

In any case, I'll be keeping an eye on this one, and at least we know that advertisement clips are due to drop from 21 March!
