The last two weeks have been transforming (Patreon)

Hey FreshMen,

Over the last two weeks, I spend 2 daily hours reading business books. And my mind is seeing new opportunities that it couldn’t see before.

Here are some things that changed:

Avoiding the Survival Trap

I noticed I was doing tasks that seemed important and urgent, but only increased our value by 1%. Doing these tasks made me blind to the other bigger opportunities around. Currently, I’m seeing tasks that can raise our value by 100%, and I’m calmly executing them even if the results will come 6-12 months from now.

Delegating my old tasks

FreshWomen is becoming less and less dependent on me. Eventually, the project will run 99% of the time without my day-to-day presence. And thanks to this, it’s going to become much better. The team is getting a break from me, and after 2 years making the game, they are very mature.

Training Leadership

f1r3 is now leading the FreshWomen Team on a tactical level, and he is reading the same books I read in the past. He’ll keep the quality standards high.

Bringing new people

I read a book about a new hiring method, and I’m testing it. I’m giving it a shot and if it works, we’ll be capable of making the things that you want us to do much faster. Working on FreshWomen is a satisfying experience, and I want to share this opportunity with more people.

Designing new visual novels

I really love my patrons. They are very excited about our work and are willing to participate in our creative process (and put food on our tables too). I’m listing several ideas that I would like to make, and they are voting for the best options. Thankfully, our tastes are aligned most of the time.

I’m very confident about the final quality of the Fantasy project we are designing together. After the Fantasy project is designed, we’ll have a new team dedicated to make it a reality.

A new phase of our journey

The present is already great, and I believe the future will be even greater. Transformation is uncomfortable, but it’s the challenge that keeps things exciting.
