Episode 2: 81.6% done (Patreon)

Hey Guys,

This week we returned from our brief vacation and the episode 2 is 81.6% done. 

Budgeting and Planning

I spent quite a lot of time planning our budgets and I'm delighted to conclude that we have enough money to support a team of 7 people (me, Daisuke3D, Tsundere-Writer, Saniya, Movie Editor, Animator and Second Artist) until November 2022 (Yes, 2022). I considered the money we have in the bank and the recurring payments from Patreon, itch io and Steam.

Our team is mostly Brazilian so our salaries are quite low compared to USA and Europe, but we can afford a decent living in our cities because we keep our expenses low. Minimum wage here is around 200 USD.

So next week I'll recruit for the role that of Movie Editor, because it's our biggest pain point right now. I used to be our movie editor, but I gained so many new tasks since the launch of Episode 1, that I have to pass it along to someone else, and train him with what I know.

Weekly Progress

This week Tsundere-Writer found a new tool to map and plan Episode 3 and Season 1 as a whole. Daisuke3D rendered 56 new renders and fixed several renders that had some problems. Right now we have 556 renders approved.

Our major goal is to launch Season 1 on Steam with 4000 renders in Mid 2022. If I recruit people correctly, then we'll reach this goal and deliver an exceptional experience to people.
