Animations, 4K Previews and a new tier (Patreon)

We are getting ready for animations

This week I upgrade our GPU server to better automate tasks related to animations.

Our new system includes two preview renders, and after we approve both, the animation will be rendered in our GPU server #2 (yes, we need an extra RTX 3090 server exclusive for animations).

Each 1 second of animations takes 5 hours to render.

4K preview renders

According to our latest poll, many of you will benefit from 4K preview renders. You can see that I highlighted the votes of each tier.

Making the whole game in 4K would require 4x RTX 3090 that would be quite expensive, but it's possible to make a few selected renders in 4K that you can download and see the details. I'll make a .zip package with all the 4K renders that you can download.

This week I updated our GPU server to handle this task almost automatically.

Aiming towards 40 minutes episodes

This week I improved our internal analytics tools to better measure our progress. And our rendering capability is increasing!

Daisuke3D's new computer arrived two days ago, and this is the benchmark before and after. It's a huge improvement thanks to your support.

I also bought a second monitor (4K resolution) to boost his productivity even more.

New $40 tier: votes and previews

I created a new $40 tier that offers 12 votes per week, and 5 previews images per week. It's made for our undying fans.

Upgraded out planning tools

With the additional revenue sources and incoming team members, I had to upgrade my knowledge about planning, budgeting, and managing. I'm reading a lot of new books to be prepared for our next phase.
