This is a series of posts where I answer questions I get from you inside and outside the Patreon about what the fug is happening in the Growth Lab.

• Generator: a type of person who can cause growth in others and themselves (Naomi, Benton)
• Battery: a type of person who can store growth energy (Luna)

• Giga: a person who will exhibit super muscled growth (Karen)
• Normal: a normal person who grows (Alexander, most of the characters you see)

Since we know that Battery types have a limit in how much energy they can absorb and is possible for them for them to be "empty" as you say, if they absorbed energy from a Generator, is it a possibility that the Generator can just charge back up again like nothing happened?  Quick way of asking, is a Generator's energy limitless or bottomless so if they get absorbed, they can quickly grow again just as fast or faster like nothing happened? 

Batteries could theoretically be empty. I believe there are a few occasions in the comics this has happened thought I don't believe this condition was specifically pointed out when it was occurring. Someone like Luna has been emptied of all energy at least once and I think at that time her bust size was noticeably smaller. The implication was there was some sort of connected between her boob size and her capacity. Again, I do not believe this was confirmed in story, only theorized.  Generators are limited with the speed they can output. Not all generators can just create and dump tons of growth energy into any situation. So, in a sense there is a limit on the output for generators. Batteries are the same story. There is a limit to the rate of absorption and dispersal.   

Another question, how do you mean that Batteries can cancel out Generators? 

If a Battery can absorb energy fast enough from a generator then the effect of the growth energy would be cancels. It is situational of course!

Mega's and Giga's have resistance when it comes to sexual tendencies, but could it be possible for either one of those two (especially a Giga) to have resistance right away and for a short time, but the resistance will slowly dissipate if either one of tQhem (again especially a Giga) stays that size for too long and have to give in or have a possibility to be completely overwhelmed by it or possibly have another growth episode and have no choice but to have the energy released (whether by decom or orgasm) or risk more and more growth?   

Perhaps, I don’t know if there ever has been anything like that shown. It’s possible of course, mostly I imagine Giga’s and Mega’s at this point as strong (strength) and hardened against pain or physical attacks.  

One last question, if you say that when a Battery is empty, would that make them more dangerous and possibly absorb energy too fast and have either a bloat-out or have an unstable growth episode?  

Batteries are pretty stable generally and it’s only at their limit they tend to have episodes. As I mentioned above, batteries are limited by the rate at which they can absorb energy. An empty battery will still absorb energy at the same rate as the same battery at nearly full capacity. At least this is my general head cannon on the matter!  

If Naomi has the most control over her growth, can she also maintain her generated size for any length of time without anybody trying to decom her?  If she can, do the times vary depending on how big she makes herself or can she be any size she makes herself for any length of time without any difficulty? 

Thank you for the transcripts! To answer the question about Naomi. Again, this is largely unseen at this point, is that Naomi can only generate energy so fast and that is ultimately the limiter on her growth. This is assuming she is the ONLY one around generating any energy and she is also just working to make herself bigger.

Something that I feel is true (though again, doesn't get shown exactly) is there is a natural time out on the growth. Whether one wants to or not they will gradually or quickly go back to their normal size at one point. Naomi likely has some limit of shrinking to growing that would make it tough for her to be an 'unlimited' grower.

How big was Luna when she had her colossal growth?  I'm wagering somewhere between thousands of feet to possibly miles.  It doesn't have to be exact, just give me a range or estimate if you can.

My head cannon on her size there was at least 3-5 miles across. There is a lot of stuff happening with foreshortening and the like. I imagined her immense and unloading a lot of energy at the time. The thing is if I drew her exactly to scale then some of the panels would have looked a little off with Luna being so big or the ship being so small. So, yes, she was huge, miles across and if you were to look at her in profile, perhaps 5 miles from the tip of her breasts to her backside.

Of all the stuff that Luna was blamed for throughout the story (which was a lot), is she truly at fault for everything that she was blamed for or is she just an easy target for blame whether or not it was her fault (directly or indirectly)?

I feel she is an easy target and the story is maneuvering towards that angle. Luna is effectively on the lookout for the WHYs of the energy program. A lot of the people who sponsored the events that caused all this do not want to be found. At this point in the story there are a few hidden characters that we haven’t met. ON a basic level though Luna has caused a lot of trouble and property damage. That is on her for sure. On another level though there are people outside her control who we occasionally see. These people are deliberately triggering Luna’s growth to cause various outbreaks.

What is each of the main characters approach when it comes to growing?  What I mean is that how do they feel about growing themselves (love it, hate it, despise it, etc.)?  I'll give you some names and you can tell me how they feel about growing.  Naomi, Mika, Benton, Alexander, Luna, Hannah and give a short explanation as to why they feel that way if you can, it would help me understand each of their views.

Feelings towards growth (in general and these CAN vary depending on specific setups)

• Naomi – loves it and wants the growth. She is one of the people who likes the idea of becoming a giant.
• Mika – Doesn’t like the IDEA of growing but does enjoy the growth once she is ‘grown’. In a way she finds herself like Naomi and gets into it in the later stages. She is also one of the people who retains the same overall personality when she is grown (as does Naomi) 
• Benton – Doesn’t want to grow at all but has a lot of urges that lead him to growing. He’s very Jekyll and Hyde about his growth. In a way his personality grown is a reflection of a lot of pent up desires. 
• Alexander – he doesn’t want to grow all the time but loves the effects of the growth. I would say in his mind he looks at it as a benefit. When it happens he probably things he’s ‘lucked out again’! haha 
• Luna – Does enjoy the growth. I don’t think she understands totally why she does but my thinking is this is her body allowing itself to unload a lot of stored energy. So, it’s a release for her (a pleasurable one) but also a help in the sense she is getting rid of excess energy. 
• Hannah – doesn’t want to grow but doesn’t really lose herself too much in the process. Hannah has a pretty strong will and generally speaking, just wants to get back to her normal size.  

Now don’t hold me directly to all of that in every story since it does vary A LOT but I would say those are GENERALLY accurate and probably the things I think about when I write those characters! 

What was that energy that Benton unloaded on Luna late in the chapter that made her so "ditsy" for a short time?  There always seems to be some sort of unique abilities when it comes to Benton throughout the entirety of this story (hypnotic persuasion on Naomi for one) and this one seems to puzzle me.  Also, I noticed the words rocket science come up again in this chapter, I know that it causes the person that hears it to grow, but how does the person grow without any exposed energy in the area?  Also how does the growth from that phrase differ from the growth from exposed energy?  The only difference I notice is that the phrase causes instantaneous, explosive, non-continuous growth and can stack on when the person hears it multiple times whereas growth from exposed energy seems slower but is continuous based on how much exposed energy there is in the area.  Are there any differences that I'm missing or does that about cover it? 

The power Benton has is a combination of him being a generator and the (in universe) use of the phrase 'rocket science'. The idea there (which I don't think is well documented) is a battery can focus their growth ability on certain people to cause them to grow very fast. With Luna and Benton he has effectively created some sort of trip wire than can tap into HER battery charge and use some combination of her charge and his generator powers to cause her to grow. Again, this is all the LOOSE HEAD CANNON I have on the matter so there's not a whole lot more to it than that. When you see other people growing from the phrase there is normally some sort of battery or generator (whether seen or unseen) around causing this to happen. now, I haven't delved too much into this phenomenon with other people but that is my rough thinking on the matter. (at least the Luna part) 

I have to ask is that it's safe to say that Benton and Naomi are the most powerful growers in the G-Lab universe, am I right on that assumption?

I would say they are two of the more powerful KNOWN generators. My head cannon has them high on the list but I would reserve the topmost slots for others that might still be out there!

Also, since I know that you're an admirer of large chested women, did you model Luna after anyone in particular?

I think Rachel Aldana in her early days is a pretty good look at what I think Luna's chest would look like. I can't recall exactly but I BELIEVE some of the first Luna concepts were drawn around 2010-2011, maybe a little later. I think that was when she (Aldana) was gaining popularity. 

How intelligent is Luna? What I mean is that how high of an IQ does she have? I'm assuming it's 110 or higher which is considered above average intelligence

This is a tough one since the quick answer "very intelligent and a high IQ around 150-160 (perhaps higher)". The problem is in the stories she is clearly doing dumb things. haha. The real deal is she is a very intelligent scientist. I feel I don't show enough of that since this is a comic about boobs and growth. Still, in the GLab universe she has invented a way to harness a growth energy variant. She is also responsible for the matter transportation technology you see. All around she is a high ranking, highly placed operative in the government and given a lot of leeway because of this. Mostly we see her now blundering around but she is on a mission and working with a purpose even if it’s not too clear.

What is Luna's ultimate goal in this story?

The final goal of hers is unrevealed at the moment (deliberately). The short-term goal is to study, contain and control the current growth outbreaks. I would way more but much of this will be revealed in upcoming books.
