NETWORK MAINTENANCE! (Patreon)

Hey all!

I'm booking in network maintenance for Thursday 6PM BST, 1PM EST, for 1 hour. The network will be unstable during this time but I think the changes are necessary and I think you will to.

Change log:

Update OS' on ALL VRCDN machines and reboot,

Install extra ram to EU ingest server,

Patch the ingest server to address memory leaks,

Add new endpoint to ingest servers to allow for low latency OBS > OBS streaming (feature coming soon to all users)

Deploy new code for grabbing network status and viewer counts,

Deploy the beta edge server to EU1.

We are aware that the beta server is not fully tested, but all tests so far have worked without issue and the final test would be to get it running. This is a tentative roll out with quick failover back to the old app stack should something go wrong. We chose to do only the EU1 for now as it's not used as heavily as our NA servers, and is in our timezone so we should be available during it's peak time to keep an eye on things. If the new edge server proves to be stable we will schedule a future maintenance window to perform a re-install of the OS' on ALL edge servers (gotta keep them clean) and deploy the new edge apps fully.
