Theres a bug where you cannot interact with anything in 5.7, I did a quick hotfix for it in version 5.7a. So if you have this bug download the updated version. Sorry about this but apparently the activator menu failed to compile on packaging and didn't throw any errors.
Focus this month was adding the debug mode along with the temp final boss to trigger it along with controller support and keybinds.
For the debug mode its available to all patrons, you just need to login, for free you need to beat the temporary final boss to unlock it, the boss is at the tower. The debug menu can be enabled in the options, which will give you all sorts of fun things to play around with.
The final boss has some unique mechanics that has to do with status effects and I went ahead and expanded the status effect system more. I redid it a few months ago, but now it supports more statuses and resistances. Stun has been changed to only keep you in place along with making you regain AP slower. Statuses and resistances can now be seen in the stats menu, however fire and shock are not present in the game yet.
The game now has partial controller support, only with the Xbox style controller. I don’t think I will end up supporting PS4, since its handled quite a bit differently, but they have overlapping controls. Its a case of one or the other and the Xbox controller is a lot easier and I assume thats what most people would use so I am concentrating on that. There are still menus that do not work with the controller, however all the overworld and combat should. Its been a bit of a massive project getting this to work for all menus, I am planning on having them all working by next update.
