This  years, "Cute lil Kitty Shanoa" brought to you at the stroke of  midnight. Kitty of the New Year! This girl is Shanoa from Castlevania:  Order of Ecclesia. A former heroine she has been serving as a house cat  for the better part of a decade now. Turns out staging a foolhardy  invasion of Dracula's lair wasn't the best idea, but she might've gotten  away with it if it wasn't for those meddling Succubis!

That piece was in turn thought up and paid for by the ever illusive pixel-inquisitor.deviantart.co…  He made a short story with the same concept which is awesome and its  been hiding out on my hard drive for the same eight years that I've been  drawing this character. That piece by Delirium and the short story that  preceded it is what pushed me over the edge and got me to make this dev  art account. Its no coincidence that it was my very first fav. A lot of  artists inspired me Nomad, Dondis, Faile, Piroro just to name a few,  but at the end of the day it was Delirium8's "Commission 10" and Pixel  Inquisitor's short stories that got me to set up shop here and share all  the pictures in my gallery with you. 

Sooner or later I'll have  to make a Shanoa Kitty calendar and have 12 months worth of seasonally  appropriate drawings to go with it. For some reason the time lines have  never synced up and I've never had the opportunity to draw a Halloween  Shanoa but its on the to do list. Damned if I dont want to draw a  Valentines Shanoa, a groundhogs day versus Shanoa and a "Shanoa captures  a leprechaun but can only wish for mmmph" Shanoa. Its all on the to do  list! Given time.

These  are always nice. On one hand I like Shanoa and want her to escape and  get revenge, but on the other hand I can't deny that there's a certain  appeal to a defeated hero being humiliated and displayed for so long  that they start to forget what it was like to ever not be like this.
